Reading up on the Oslo accords.
I’m pretty sure, if my neighbour and I had been fighting for years over our property line. Finally grew weary of it. Had peace with in reach.

And my neigbor secretly armed himself, and his son made it absolutely clear, he did not want peace, killed my dog ( suicide attacks) wanted to kill me, my wife, my kids. As well as my land. While my sin was building a shed…

it would not end well for either of them.

Hostages are held for ransom by kidnappers. States that hold people without trial, like the US in Guantanamo or Israel with Palestinians, is extra judicial detention. But call it what you want, but it does not justify Hamas taking hostages.

It is extra judicial detention. Hostage means they want something in return. I dont think they do.
