Bald numbers don't tell the whole story. A better breakdown would be number of armed combatants dead vs civilians.
Can't remember which news source it was from but the Israeli side was a couple dozen troops, a couple dozen police (which are legally civilians though would have been engaged in defending their towns) and the rest civilian. On the Palestinian side, they tend not to distinguish between dead combatants and civilians but very commonly they will post memorials of their soldiers who in past flare-ups have accounted for a significant number of the dead.
