This isn't a defense of the GOP. They are horribly corrupt as well. Its a simple case of them, after knowing he is corrupt, allowing him access to the party apparatus to get reelected. That's what happened, and do did more corruption, and in this case from foreign government.

Regardless, the point is that if a member of the Democratic party had such a credible accusation of rape against him, he'd be forced out. Frankin took a prank pic that was deemed inappropriate and he was forced out.
