Your second statement is not inclusive; the suburbs are a separate municipality populated by people who desire a different lifestyle than yours; punishing them for being different makes you a bigot.
The QEW and 401 are Provincial Highways paid for by the entire province for moving goods all over North America.
If you took out all the bike lanes; then the traffic jam wouldnāt be so big.

I pay $3,800/year. When I left Whitby it was $5,800. House size the same, land a lot more.
Much is going to be based on MPAC.
my utilities are higher. Quite a bit. Likely around $4,000 more per year. A lot of that tax.
Water lower. Iām on a well. But people not all that far from me, on municipal or cisterns are getting utterly raped. Hundreds/month.
back to purely land taxes.
I get waste services once a week.
schools are far away.
Police 15-20 minutes away
Fire 15-20 minutes away
No, none, Nada public transit.
Snow removal, road repairs ālaughā
Municipal staff/services. Lol are you kidding meā¦
For all practical purposes. Iām paying for waste removal and snow removal/road repairs this last compared to Whitbyā¦ā¦ā¦..
All things equal, which includes MPAC. What I paid in Whitby, vs what I pay here for what I getā¦pulease.

You made the choice, so what, you want the people of Toronto to pay because you decided to live further away where its more expensive? Stop whining.
Why do you think your views should even count on what the people who actually live in Toronto want?
Services are cheaper here because we live closer together, if you want a big yard or 10 acres for your dog that's your own choice. But don't blame Toronto.
The 15 minute city is excellent.

If they don't want to pay for the mess they helped create like overpopulation, half-ass construction funding, skipping the bill on health care, etc, then certain plans will be a no go.
I'd personally transfer all refugees, homeless and drug addicts to neighbouring cities.
Time will tell what the actions will be, but this is the correct first step. Either they help fund or Toronto needs to be reshaped.
DoFo planned on building nukes but gave up, then he declared he'll build gas and coal plants. Then he gave up on those.
Now he's planning on building more renewable generation after having cost the province $230 million cancelling previous contracts.
Toronto police can be cut, this city is safe. Let the people who live here decide.
And if you're still complaining about taxes why don't you just spend $1000 on breakfast with DoFo and buy the time to get him to redo your MPAC property valuation.
