Didn't watch the video because reasons but
I bloody well hope he is. If he isn't he is perhaps the worlds most special needs world leader. I mean the guy is a huge twat monkey, but even then.
Also everything he has done so far with regard to NATO has backfired, Finland in, Sweden if not in yet will be soon. Ukraine is more likely to join than before. So his attempts to destabilize NATO can only help NATO. Not that I can figure out a way for him to do it, other than fantasy.

It was simple and anyone who follows geopolitics knows this. Putin did not want NATO on the Russian border. Now we have world war 3 developing.

Why dont you set out the parameters of peace. Putin has said he want the part of Ukraine. Zelensky has said he wants everything including Crimea.
The Baltics have been bordering the Russian motherfuckerland long before Putin decided to fuck himself and Russia all up their medieval asses, yet he didn't "start WIII", until he decided to invade a non-NATO country because it dared to defy Putin's desires that it is actually not the country of Ukraine, but a vassal state of Russia AND more importantly because a prosperous western, democratized Ukraine threatened his autocratic criminal regime's existence.

Well it isn't good for Ukraine but yeah you are right. Additional wonderful stronk members. The gear of a potential enemy getting wrecked. Telling China that maybe invading Taiwan would be a very bad idea.
I see this as a total win. For us.
Except even before Ukraine West Taiwan didn't have the air or sea lift to land enough troops in Taiwan to establish a beachhead. Taiwan is a tough nut to crack. Now that the west has shown it has some elbows, no way will West Taiwan bother. There has been no move to send free shit to Taiwan. Even if Taiwan did go to war, for the US that's mostly and air and naval war. A few F-16s isn't going to make a difference in defending Taiwan, they do have about a million reservists and once the shit starts happening either the land invasion will succed or fail [aka fail] before any aid gets there, or it will come down to blocake and again, the assets we are sending to Ukraine are not the ones we would need to deal with a West Taiwan blockade.
Also best way to prevent a war in Taiwan... standing up to Russia in Ukraine showing West Taiwan we mean business.
Also how exactly is Ukraine losing, in the past while, they have taken back large territories in the north and south west and making them very small gains, if you consider that losing?

1: Russia does have NATO on it's border. Poland borders Königsberg, and the Potato Union of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania also border mainland Russia and after the invasion because of Poutine's dumbfuckery they now have Finland on the border and the inevitable Ukraine, the last two never would have happened if Poutine minded his own business.
Also there is no WW3 developing. Poutine knows that if he pulls an article 5, the Russian military is going to get flattened and if he goes nuclear him and his minions are either dead or living over a nuclear wasteland assuming his minions allow him to make the dumb ass move. Poutine is a dumbass and a jerk but he isn't insane.
But yeah, lets make peace, let us give Ukraine to Russia, and when Poutine makes more threats, well let's just give him all of Eastern Europe and even Western Europe and pay massive reps to the Russians because oh noes, Poutine might decide to commit suicide and destroy Russia with a nuclear war if he doesn't get his way.

That is a bad analogy, If the US wanted Canadian clay, there is literally nothing we could do to stop them, we wouldn't even be a bump in the road. That would be more akin to Denmark surrendering hours after a Nazi invasion.
We however can and have been stopping Russia pretty nicely and as long as a treasonous twatmonkey like Trump [reasonous to the US and the west in general] doesn't win in the next election Ukraine will be fine for as long as they want to resist.
