Yep, SEARS was great too. They all were really. Flipping through them seeing what's new and available. The smell of the catalogs as well, loved it. The excitement of going to the store and ordering it, assuming it was in stock. lol
Now you just sit at your desk and click, it's not the same obviously and not a better shopping experience. Using your senses during the catalog days was great.
As a kid in the 1970's I used to drool over the Eaton's Christmas catalogue.

Hmmmm. I guess I should hold on to my old Minolta 35mm.
I have 5 Minolta 35 mm cameras, one Leica rangefinder, one Canon, three Nikons, plus a D780 digital, and a couple of 1954 Kodak Retinettes. I love my D780, but I also brought a film camera to NYC with me to do street photography with.
What Minolta do you have? Did you know that there was a time when Minolta and Leitz worked collaboratively?
