Porn mags. I remember as a kid I found someone’s stash of weird European hardcore shit in the forest. I took it and hid it somewhere else where it wouldn’t be found. That was my summer of jerking off in the forest. Good times

Watches, evidently most kids today can not tell you the time on an analog watch. The are use to the digital clocks on cell phones.

I wear a watch everyday. I hate having to keep pulling my phone out of my pocket. Plus alot of times I don't take my phone with me.

My 2018 truck has a CD player.
Thank god for the ban on smoking in restaurants, airplanes and other public places. Especially hotel rooms.(y)

I use pencils every day of my life.

I sketch drawings. You don't use ink when you're sketching details. Not unless you enjoy doing the same drawing 10 times.

Also, if you are working outdoors and using a field book to record notes, you always use pencil because rain wont turn your notes into modern art.

Middle seats in cars
Shifters on the steering column - New Mercedes still have these. They are electronic and small, but still a shifter on the column.
Lap only seat belts
Ash trays in cars and planes - You'll still find ash trays, sometimes you can order them.
Cigarette lighters - can still be had in cars.
Smoking sections in restaurants, smoking rooms in offices, smoking in a plane - go to eastern Europe. I'm thinking Sofia in particular.
Power and fixed antennas - F150's up to 2020 had fixed antennal. They might even still have them, I dunno.
Tape rewinders
Beta max tapes and having to pick between it and VHS

Video stores - Jumbo video re-opened in Belleville last year. Complete with popcorn. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/film/article-jumbo-video-store-belleville/
CDs, players in cars / computers and the Discman - Yeah, so now you need to buy an external DVD player to load your old software (I'm looking at you Office 2010) which works perfectly fine.
Casette tapes, the Walkman and ghetto blasters - still a loyal following, especially ghetto blasters. I regret tossing the one my parents had.
8 tracks
MP3 players - I still use my Apple Ipod. No need to pay subscription fees to Apple like you have to now and I NEVER update my software.
Flip phones - Samsung makes a new one now.
Rotary phones - they are still around.
Pay phones - They are still around too and at least they don't track you and compile a data file on you. There's one around Royal York Road and Evans and another around Dundas West and Dufferin.
Polaroid cameras and film - true, haven't seen these in forever. Were great for taking nude pics of my GF back in university - sigh....
35mm film cameras and 1 hour photo stores - film is making a comeback.
35mm slides and projectors - still around
Overhead transparency projectors - still around
Floppy disks - see the post above about older aircraft still using them.
Fax machines - everyone still has them in the office.
Land line modems
Tube style TVs and monitors - funnily enough, when it comes to amplifiers, tubes are still widely in use and even sought after.
Red and blue 3D glasses
Serial, parallel, VGA, and coax computer cables
RCA cables on A/V equipment - my vintage technics system entered the room. Still one of the cleanest sounding audio systems going and you'd be amazed at how well they sell on ebay.

Shifters on the steering column - New Mercedes still have these. They are electronic and small, but still a shifter on the column. Not surprising that MB went with an electronic version of the column shifter.

Ash trays in cars and planes - You'll still find ash trays, sometimes you can order them. Been a very long time since I've seen an ash tray in a commercial airline though. If you do find one, the plane must be very old.

Cigarette lighters - can still be had in cars. Likely optional, but I don't think they're standard equipment anymore.

Smoking sections in restaurants, smoking rooms in offices, smoking in a plane - go to eastern Europe. I'm thinking Sofia in particular. No reason to doubt you on this, but these have disappeared in many places.

Power and fixed antennas - F150's up to 2020 had fixed antennal. They might even still have them, I dunno. You're right, many of the Ford pickups including F-150 and do have fixed antennas for some reason. I don't think they have any retractable versions though. The weird thing is that other manufacturers like GMC, and Toyota don't seem to have fixed antennas. Instead they have those stubby ones on the roof. Who knows why Ford still uses the fixed antenna.

Video stores - Jumbo video re-opened in Belleville last year. Complete with popcorn. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/film/article-jumbo-video-store-belleville/ You've found a unicorn :D

CDs, players in cars / computers and the Discman - Yeah, so now you need to buy an external DVD player to load your old software (I'm looking at you Office 2010) which works perfectly fine. It doesn't count if you have to buy an external CD / DVD drive. You can't use something that isn't already included in the box.

Casette tapes, the Walkman and ghetto blasters - still a loyal following, especially ghetto blasters. I regret tossing the one my parents had. True, but when was the last time you've seen casette tapes or players in a store?

MP3 players - I still use my Apple Ipod. No need to pay subscription fees to Apple like you have to now and I NEVER update my software. Same point as before. You've never had to pay subscription fees to Apple. You can stream music for free on YouTube, Spotify and other apps though they're ad supported. Some phones with a 3.5mm jack will have a FM radio app. The wired headphones act as the antenna. You can also stream FM radio on the stations web-site or there's an app called TuneIn Radio. You can also load your "semi-legally" downloaded MP3 files to your iPhone though I"m sure Apple makes it harder than it needs to be.

Flip phones - Samsung makes a new one now. I forgot about foldable phones, which do qualify as flip phones. They're a bit different than the flip phones of yesterday that had a physical keypad on them. That also reminds me that LG and some other brands had candy bar style phones with a flip out keyboard.
Rotary phones - they are still around. I'd think they be very tough to find in a store though.

Pay phones - They are still around too and at least they don't track you and compile a data file on you. There's one around Royal York Road and Evans and another around Dundas West and Dufferin. True, but how often and why would people use them when almost everyone has a cell phone?

35mm film cameras and 1 hour photo stores - film is making a comeback. I suppose so, but it's not so easy to find stores that will develop film anymore. I'm sure there are a few boutique stores out there though.

35mm slides and projectors - still around. I'm sure that they are kicking around at many places. That doesn't mean people use them often though

Overhead transparency projectors - still around I'm sure that they are kicking around at many places. That doesn't mean people use them often though.

Floppy disks - see the post above about older aircraft still using them.

Fax machines - everyone still has them in the office. I'm sure that they are kicking around at many places. That doesn't mean people use them often though.

Tube style TVs and monitors - funnily enough, when it comes to amplifiers, tubes are still widely in use and even sought after. I was referring to CRT TVs and monitors and not vacuum tubes. I'm sure they are kicking around here and there, but they're becoming rare these days.
