The Borden's milk man left our milk, sour cream and butter in one of those milk boxes. Once in a while he'd give us a ride in his truck to the end of the block.
My late Dad converted ours into a mailbox.
As a kid in the 1970's I used to drool over the Eaton's Christmas catalogue.Yep, SEARS was great too. They all were really. Flipping through them seeing what's new and available. The smell of the catalogs as well, loved it. The excitement of going to the store and ordering it, assuming it was in stock. lol
Now you just sit at your desk and click, it's not the same obviously and not a better shopping experience. Using your senses during the catalog days was great.

A friend's parents had 1 in their house. Burglars broke into the house through this milk box. You could open the box from inside the house so you didn't have to go outside. They kicked in the interior door and reached in and unlocked the side door. Walked right in the house.
There are 3 payphones at Yonge Eglinton Centre mezz level next to the soon to be new gym.Pay phone

I have 5 Minolta 35 mm cameras, one Leica rangefinder, one Canon, three Nikons, plus a D780 digital, and a couple of 1954 Kodak Retinettes. I love my D780, but I also brought a film camera to NYC with me to do street photography with.Hmmmm. I guess I should hold on to my old Minolta 35mm.
