John Schneider has the capabilities and manoeuvrings of a high school baseball coach, complete with brain farts because he has to complete grading his science class test scores.
oh man, Schneider is done like dinner. This is sad to watch.
I personally feel like they tinkered with a winning formula, and they took for granted what they had. If they're going to try to salvage this season and make any type of play for the postseason, John Schneider has to go.

So why is he in number 3 slot? Hottest hitter against starting pitcher goes number 3 not the most talented

No Tampa needs to run out their bullpen, not insert position players to pitch in the 8th inning. Saving their bullpen arms by using position players to pitch in the 8th and 9th innings should not be allowed. 18th inning yes, 8th and 9th inning no.
I know this might sound petty, but this kind of crap even impacts things like my fantasy league. The guy that has Vlad basically a free grand slam. Imagine this guy win my league at the end of the year by an HR or a few RBI's. The winner gets $1000.00 bucks. All because Tampa decided to throw BP to the Jays.

Vlady hit his first home run in what felt like five years.
Nothing more annoying than watching him do his little dances and gestures rounding the bases, when he is not that home run phenom from 2021 right now. After yesterday's grand slam though, he seems to have toned down hr dances a little.

Yeah that's only because he knew it was a somewhat meaningless HR and not not really a legit one seeing as it against a positional player throwing BP.
One thing I will say, I am glad the Jays are one of the teams getting more away from these ridiculous theatrics while other teams seem to be going in the other direction.
In Seattle the player that hits an HR puts on a Viking helmet and holds a trident. In Minnesota the guy puts on a fishing vest and holds a fishing rod. There's another completely idiotic one I saw recently.
The Angels don a Samurai helmet after a hr, and the Orioles drink the moonshine. The Red Sox, the hr hitter gets a ride in a wheelbarrow. Nobody does the Rikishi Stinkface - pity.
