I'm not sure what your asking.

I am thinking of Berrios not Manoah

Regardless, we are in trouble if Kukuchi and Bassit
stop pitching over their heads

You cannot win with one ace starter which may be only Guasman

Without any injuries we have lost our two best pitchers in Manoah and Berrios

Bassitt is pitching as advertised. He was and is highly regarded.

You do not seem to understand how hot he is.

Take away his first really bad start and he is the best pitcher in baseball.

He now holds Jays record for consecutive scoreless innings at 27 and
counting with a well deserved era way below 2 while Cole
who is considered odds on to win Cy Young has era just over 2

He was not expected to set pitching records and be the best pitcher in the game.

He was slotted as number three

And once again today.

Jansen does have talent and could be number one with some teams so we could have gotten
a lot for him where talent is always in demand.

I would have traded Kirk who had the greatest value as reigning starting All Star

We would be weaker at catching without him but better in other areas whether
it was a hitting and defensive outfielder or star reliever while still being strong in catching

All we got was Varsho at .220 and with a career .230 for the best catching prospect in baseball
who proved last year he is ready to be backup

BTW, Varsho is our second back up at catching so that does give us some insurance in
case someone goes down but if he was a solid catcher he would be doing it and
who will replace his defense in the outfield if he is forced to catch as his defence is why we got him

Trading top catching prospect in baseball for a defensive outfielder seems like a bad trade

I don't think he holds the Blue Jays record, yet. I believe Dave Steib holds the team record at 34 innnings.
I agree with the good things you say about Bassitt.

Bassitt has an ERA of 1.71 after his first start of this year. His consecutive scoreless innings streak begins with the second inning of his April 30 start.

Dave Stieb DID have 34 consecutive scoreless innings for the Blue Jays.

The streak started with his last 4 innings on September 13, 1988, and ended after 3 innings on April 5, 1989. In between, he pitched 3 consecutive shutouts, including back-to-back one-hitters at the end of the 1988 season.

After getting soundly outplayed yesterday the bombers take the game and the series.

Judge didn't need his first base coach to crush another one and almost two.

I would have been happy with two but getting three in Toronto is so sweet. Especially since I do think the Jays field the better team at present.

Vlady missing the last two games didn't help the Jays cause any. Solid AB's by Bichette. He gets some criticism on here but really he's a force to be reckoned with every time he steps to the plate.

Yankees are off to Cincy. Then Baltimore for three. I'm hyped to see what this Oriole team is all about...

I'm pretty sure that they showed a graphic where Roget Clemens was between Bassitt and Stieb. However, I am not sure if Clemens' streak was in one season or not.

Springer has done fuck all, is he over the hill quickly like Joey Bats? Or is he still recovering from the bug? He should not be lead off, put KK there.and Springer 9th for time being until he comes around.

Berrios pitched well

He was not as bad as his stats indicated last year as he threw some real bad games that inflated his era
with some quality starts inbetween, same thing this year

He is a quality end of rotation starter

So is Manoah, at this point, as he does have some quality starts

Agree

Same with everyone

If Vlad is on a bad streak put him at number 9 until he comes around

I never understood the philosophy of keeping your stars in a crucial
spot in batting order when they are on a cold streak

The top of the order gets more at bats so that is where you put the hitters who are hot,
COLD HITTERS GO TO THE BOTTOM

Roger Clemens is the greatest man to ever live lol. I remember singing my own abbreviated version of the Rockin' Robin Hood theme song, specifically designed for this man.

"hands up to rocket marching together. Hits the corner at 95 in all types of weather..... blah blah blah"

If they leave this many runners in scoring position, this team is doing fuck all. I went to the game on Thursday night, and I was more interested in my poutine hotdog and their new, less salty and amazing popcorn formula.

I don't like this team again. Fire the hitting coach. They gotta do something to wake up quickly.
