You’re right…but he had a very slim margin in the Senate and he could barely hold that majority together due to Mancin and Sinema.

Plus…I believe you need 60 votes in the Senate to break a filibuster and get anything passed…meaning Biden needed some GOP members to sign off on it too.

So I would say the fact that Biden got any gun legislation through (however weak it might be) is still an achievement under the circumstances but there is no way those AR rifles are going to be banned by Congress. No POTUS could make that happen in today’s political climate.
