On many levels, this feels like a protests of some sort, like when high school boys wear skirts because the dress code doesn't allow shorts...or something like that....

And, until this person explains themselves, we just keep talking about it all.

Finally point....David Menzies is an idiot and not really a journalist. He's trying to get his 15 minutes of fame, and desperately desires getting on Fox regularly....

Actually I'd argue the board handled it well.
They didn't make a stink and let boobs work in their trolling costume. They didn't try to get them fired or removed, didn't go to the press and generally did the best thing you can with trolls. Ignore them.

Busty Lemieux scammed the Canadian taxpayers. The HDSB was too woke to do anything. David Menzies is an awesome journalist. At least, he kept following the story, unlike loser media outlets, like CBC, CTV, Global etc

How did the HDSB handle it well?? BL, is getting paid a full teachers salary and benefits, for staying home, and doing nothing. It also made the HDSB a laughing stock around the world. Why else would Tucker Carlson keep following this story!! Now, all the USA knows about the "woke" HDSB----LOL

I think the part that is still unclear is not only this person's motivation, but what limits was the board under?
They possibly did fuck this up completely, but it has never been entirely clear what was actually going on.

Dude, by saying that your opinion is null and void. And I know David personally. And the reason the legit news organizations didn’t continue coverage is because it’s kind of a non-story. It didn’t have a satisfying conclusion or any significant updates. And they aren’t obsessed with demonizing organizations or people. But Rebel realizes that the rubes get worked up over these culture war issues and they cater to this audience.

That’s true regarding the board. I mean, we don’t know what their lawyers advised them, and they obviously want to avoid any legal act. I’m not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV, so I really can’t say how this aspect of employment law works. I know Harold Levittown weighed in, but while he is an expert, he isn’t privy to all the details of the story.

The little I know is replete with verbiage of "hard bright lines", "fair warnings" and "clear rules".

If there was no dress code for trans persons in HD - maybe because no teacher had ever been a trans person in Halton - then Boobs is probably immune from firing, at least until the board sets out a code and gives Boobs fair warning.

Boobs "gets away with it". OTOH 1 teacher salary is a drop in the ocean in a municipality of about 600,000 people. And Boobs is absolutely fucking unemployable after this. He's got no viable career and he's a dude in his 30's or 40's. So who's the dumdum here?

The thing is there shouldn't be rules specifically for trans people. The rule should be either about the huge fake tits and I have no idea how that rule would be worded.

If a small breasted woman teacher wore them it would be as much of an issue IMO. Of course the trans thing is a big trigger to the rage farmers so it got far more attention.

This is why I think the board has done well, not allow this to become a big scandal other than with a small crowd of extreme right wingers.
Letting boobs troll the kids in class probably means that boobs was having a rough time of it. I'm sure that if they wanted, the kids would make boobs life miserable.
Meanwhile the board isn't in trouble with the union or with any LGBTQ community or student group.

The HDSB is a disaster. This was a worldwide scandal. Boobs caused bomb threats galore, and made the HDSB, a laughing stock around the world!!
