England Loses! England Out!!

Kane does a Baggio!

That Donato Draper is such a cock blocker, I was about to post: Theo pulls a boner then Kane pulls a Baggio. He must not have liked the Spain vs Morocco cartoon.

The Latest from the Fish Pl... er... Irish Signiorino.

Depends on your definition of best 4. Brazil is definitely one of the best 4 imo
but that doesn't mean much if you lose in the knockout stage.
I think Portugal is technically the best team but they won't be wc champions.

The best team I've ever seen was Brazil's 1982 squad but they lost to Italy, a team with a much better defense.
Shit happens, Morocco has a few very good players that play with English teams and PSG. Sometimes its a fluke... Brazi has very good players, but Croatia played it really smart.

Morocco is a Muslim country. Official languages are Arab and Berber.
Not all Arab, about 40% are Berbers indigenous of the area. Egypt also in North African, they speak Arabic but they're not Arabs.

It’s situated in Africa, do you think muslims are only Arabs? Only 20% of the world Muslim population is Arab.

I hope we don't have a repeat of 4 years ago France vs. Croatia. I'm laying my hat with the Moroccans would be great to see an African nation win the WC.

Well done, the lads from Morocco are very commendable. They fought with generosity, they fought hard and in the end they won. Honor to them. But please don't tell me that Morocco is one of the best 4 soccer teams in the world.
Top 4 in the world no way... but definitely top 3 in this tournament. They finished 1st in the group where 2 of the semi finalists emerged. Also am I the only one who is getting flashback of the Greece team of Euro 2004 when I watch Morocco play.

Morocco's defense looks impenetrable but can be broken down with short quick passes, Argentina's forte,
Morocco defense is too strong to get duped by tiki taka, Spain tried it. Portugal had the right idea but executed poorly, when he played for Juventus CR7 scored with regularity from corner kicks. Finally why does the Ballon d'Or rotate from CR7 to Messi when clearly Luka Modric is the best player in the world.

From Zadar with love...and a big kurazz to his opponents.

There is no doubt that this Brazil team is in the top 4 just based on their talent, squad depth and teamwork.

I truly believe that they lost because they were too naïve/over confident. How can you concede a goal with less than 5mins to go? There were 6 Croatians vs 4 Brazilians on that counter attack where Croatia had their first shot on goal of the match to score.

Why didn't Neymar go first for the penalty kick or even fourth instead of Marquinos when they knew it would be over if the latter failed.

Sure, your statement proves my point. Ali getting pummeled, the Gretzky goals, Babe Ruth screwing himself out being the Yankees manager, all these details are not forgotten. It's part of the entire legacy package and will always be.

CR7 has phenomenal football skills. You'll have a hard time finding a more arrogant, selfish, petulant player of his ilk.

If his attitude was better he wouldn't be benched for this game. If he had started, he might have scored a goal earlier and the game could have had a different outcome. He hurt his team, mates and even his country.
Sure, these incidents are remembered but they have zero bearing on their legacies.

They are first and foremost all remembered for being among the greatest athletes of all time.

But if someone has a personal grudge against an athlete, their perspective on their accomplishments is skewed by that person's bias.

Who has not succumbed to the passing of the years?

Canada was in the group of death, Croatia, and Morocco in the semis, perhaps in the finals.
In hindsight this was the toughest group to be in, 2 opponents that haven't lost a single game.
I had thought we could easily get 2 points, or even 4.

Conceding a late goal is a feature in football
The team defending their lead loses focus, the losing team takes it up a notch and momentum shifts,
yes 6 vs 4 looked pretty bad with acres of space for the Croatian counter attackers.

If there's a definition of mid field engine it should have Luca's picture next to it. There's a reason why he's been with RM for 10 years.

Tiki taka is a POS. By quick short passes I meant direct passes into the box that could pry open a defense,
Portugal managed to do that and had a few clear chances/shots on target but Bono was just too good,
no question about it though Morocco's defense is very cohesive, probably one of the best I've seen in a long time.
