Absolutely not. Never even thought about it that way. This arms dealer is a safety threat to the entire world, Griner plays in the WNBA. So you think Biden won because he traded a International arms dealer for a pro basketball player. Nice try tho, trying to make my comment about race.

1: She isn't a celebrity, she plays in a league that pretty much nobody cares about. Most people who claim to support the WNBA wouldn't be able to name a single player based on playing merit, and couldn't name a single team. She isn't even Pauly Shore level famous. More people would know who Pauly Shore is than her, at least before she got arrested.
2: She was hauled out because she is black female and I guess a lesbian.
Also trading some rando who wouldn't be good enough to play with men in some bush league for "the merchant of death". I bet Poutine is having a good laugh at that one.
I'm pretty sure that they would have given up Whelan if one of the many Russian spies they have in custody were part of the deal. The sad part is Griner moved the political needle, Whelan doesn't. That's not Brittany's fault and she shouldn't have been held in the first place. It's awful when human beings are used as political pawns.

The question is, is "the merchant of death" still as dangerous as he was in his younger years? Viktor has been out of the game since 2008 and is now 55. Does he still have the jam to carry on where he left off, I doubt it.

Right so Biden wasn't willing to give up one of the spies for Whelan. So much for the narrative that they would do "whatever it takes to get him back" I probably do know more than Biden. He doesn't know much and if he did it's all forgotten. I have no idea what the CIA advisors know

So trading a spy isn't reasonable? You already know who he or she is. His or her cover is blown, it's not like he can spy again, Seems reasonable to me. When he says whatever it takes people take him at his word. I guess he was lying.
