You are altering the paradigm.

If you can't make this closed scenario work on it's own, then it can not contribute when folded back into the whole. Simple as that. And it does not work. You have to once again, bring in outside money from other sources to make it work. If you have to do that, then they are not contributing.
Just curious what form of post secondary education did you attend after high school? Because you clearly don’t understand simple economics and taxation. Simple concepts which are explained in any first year commerce program lol

OK, I see you think that public service employees are leaches who suck on the teat of taxpayer dollars....I mean, just have the balls to say that. You don't think they have any positive value economically or to society. This scenario you describe purposefully misses what workers contribute to our society. To you, this is a black and white issue, you do not seem to have the ability to think of this with any nuance.

Use the LCBO as an example.
The government makes money and pays salaries, the workers pay taxes and the profit goes to the government to lower all of our taxes.

(Which is why Ford's donors want him to sell the LCBO to them)

Now that’s a good way to frame it for Uncharted to understand. Frequenting the LCBO 6/7 days of the week I’m sure he’s aware of how the business operates within the LCBO

No.. You are trying to assign a subjective assessment. I am simply going by the math. Which I find staggering that so many here don't get.

If you have 3 guys in a room and each guy has to put 5 dollars into a public pot.
The first guy pulls out $5 he got from his private employer and puts it in. Does the public pot increase?
The second guy pulls out $5 he got from his private employer and puts it in. Has the pot increased?
The third guy doesn't have a private employer. His employer is the public pot. So he takes $5 from the public pot, and then puts it back in the public pot. Did the public pot increase?

But if the LCBO workers were the only ones buying the product, would it work? No. It relies exclusively on the money brought in by those that don't work there.
Otherwise you are describing a perpetual motion machine. Which can not exist in either nature or economics.

Let’s eliminate the third guy. Who’s going to provide healthcare services, police and firefighter services, renewal services (passport, license, health card) etc. who’s going to pay doctors and nurses? So your solution is privatize every socialized service? No wonder Doug Ford is able to privatize fucking health care and education.

No, now the province will totally blame Ford if they go on strike.
And he can't try to pull the notwithstanding trick again or he'll get a general strike.

So now he has to negotiate instead of legislating a forced solution.
Ford loses.
You are delusional.
Ford won in a landslide and could easily do it again now.

Yes, it can work.
Government's can make money for services the same way any business can.
Its just then the profit goes to the people, not some billionaire.

You're talking about full on socialism, but its possible.

If the only customers to the LCBO were LCBO employees. How would that work? Where would the LCBO get the money to pay the LCBO Employees? From the goods sold to the employees? Where would the LCBO employees get the money to buy LCBO goods?

It is a paradoxical situation.

Your lack of Math understanding is astounding. I can't simplify it further.

Let's scale it down to simplify. Because any system scaled down will still have the same operating dynamics as it would scaled up.

There is a town of 2 people Me and you. I am the government, and you work for me. I pay you in wood, so you can burn it to keep warm.

As the government, I have a total of 10 pieces of wood in my budget and the only way I can add to that budget is from taxes. I pay you 2 pieces of wood a day.

Day 1
I pay you 2 pieces of wood, but I tax you 1 piece of wood. How many pieces of wood do I have left? Answer = 9.

Day 2
I pay you 2 pieces of wood, but I tax you 1 piece of wood. How many pieces of wood do I have left? Answer = 8

Day 3
I pay you 2 pieces of wood, but I tax you 1 piece of wood. How many pieces of wood do I have left? Answer = 7

You see the pattern? Is what you are paying in taxes growing the budget? No.
Is what you are paying in taxes even maintaining the budget? No.

This system will collapse, in a matter of 10 days. And If you added more people who worked for me, it would collapse even faster.
The only way this keeps going is if you add the taxes from even more people who do not work for me than there is people who work for me. That is the only way the budget is maintained at 10 pieces of wood or goes higher.

The concept is actually very simple. The public sector need wood from the private sector to make up for the shortfall caused by the public "service" workers. It's too bad the private sector can't go on strike and refuse to give more wood to the public sector.

Honestly bro are you deliberately acting this obtuse or are you really this ignorant? What do you think the government is doing with the wood? Sitting on it and making fucking fires to keep Trudeau warm? No they would be selling the wood for profit and in turn being able to buy even more wood. So they’re making a profit from the wood, the employer is receiving a wage, and half of their earnings are going back to the government in the form of taxes.

Still doesn't change that the person working for the government doesn't actually contribute anything to the revenue stream.

You can't see that, go back to school and take a math class. I'm done playing math tutor to someone who just can't get it.

Man you are so ignorant. Now you’re saying teachers, doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters etc don’t contribute to this “revenue stream” you speak about. These are all public sector employees….

Then there is no excuse why you can't wrap your little head around the fact that if the government is giving a person the very money they then give back to the government in taxes, then that is mathematically a wash. It cancels itself out.
You only need a grade 5 education to know that.

Bye.
