I had doubts about this team back in September 2019. Haven't seen anything since to change my mind.

Dart waited 3 years to pull this out like he's a prophet. Where was he last year when Leafs broke their season point record. They're 10 games in. They have 10 points. Second place Florida has 11 points. Every other team in the Division has 10 points or less. TB also has 10 points. He must have sent out his prognostication on TB as well.

This is a guy who needs attention and affirmation. Maybe he has low self-esteem.
I remember a couple of times when he commented that he was proud because of the number of views that a thread he'd started got.
Yeah, but when did the Leafs even get past Round 1 in the playoffs?

Last year set unrealistic expectations because it was a Covid year.
Between October and March the league sidelined healthy players who tested positive and most of the teams the Leafs played were missing 5 to 6 players from their roster on Covid protocol, to a season high of 11 when Vegas played here with more than half their roster missing between Covid protocol and regular injuries.
When the Leafs developed Covid problems the league postponed their games.
Their record last year should have an asterisk beside it; the fact they set a franchise record was as meaningless as being a .500 hockey club after 10 games.
I think they’re over-rated again this year and their schedule so far has been an ideal one for success - they’ve only played one team in October that made the playoffs last year - but they can do better than this.
….at least until teams get their defensive systems more gelled, then they’ll be .500 again.

It looks like the Leafs have it figured out. They should lose no more than 5 more games this year.
Up next Boston with the best record in the league 9 wins in 10 games. Plus 19 goal differential also best in the league.
Sunday it's Carolina and most likely Kallgren with his zero wins in 3 games 3.63 GGA .875 Save % will be playing that game.
They play Vegas on Tues and Vegas has the second best record 9 wins in 11 games. They looked spectacular in that game vs the Leafs.
