On the plus side it lets one easily spot a girl who you want nothing to do with but the quick in and out. She for the streets.

I get it looks trashy, tacky, and impractical, I guess I have to agree with that.

I'm probably just out of the loop, haven't actually encountered many women with ridiculously long nails in real life. So it's still interesting to me as a novelty. At this point, I definitely wouldn't mind meeting a lady with absolute talons who would use them to scatch me up a bit, on my back, butt, balls, and cock head, specifically

I think you're right. But hard scratching is not required, Just like tickling would work.
I didn't realize this was a fad, wouldn't expect it to be one, and I agree it probably shouldn't be one.
I don't even think I'd like it beyond the one-time novelty. I realize I'm in the minority, but as a fan of weird, kinky stuff, one time before I die, I'd kinda like to bang a girl with ridiculous nails.

You should seem when they’re texting and trying to do something on their phones. You can hear them clicking on the screen, it’s brutal.

My SB has them. I am amazed at how well she functions with those things in and out of the bedroom. And she's a clean freak so there's no hygiene issues with her. She wears them well.

We went out for dinner last night and I was wearing a new shirt with tiny button holes. Recent thumb surgery has left me at a disadvantage, especially at the cuffs. But she still has the dexterity to get it done.

But I do agree that, to a large degree, they get them done to impress other women.

I've never known a man in civilian life to mention a lady's nails as to why they're attracted to her. I once dated a long nailed lady and she needed a pencil to push the buttons to dial a phone (1980s). There are plenty of studies showing how hard it is to keep them clean. Not impossible, but hard.
I personally find them very off-putting. The pointy eagle-talon ones I keep thinking "yer gunna put your eye out" (lol). Thankfully my faves (all ebony ladies) have well kept shorter nails. And I love their elegant looking hands. Beautiful.
