This trend has been around forever. Back in the 90’s I was hiring people for an excellent paying job that required assembly of small parts. Zero education needed, we trained on the spot. A lady applied with zero work experience except previously at Burger King. I offered the job but said she will need to lose the 3” fake nails she sported in order to perform. She stood up and left. To this day I can’t believe she chose her nails over a job that would have fed her kids.
Admittedly I’m not a fan of the excessively long nails look. I’m much more likely to be attracted to a woman that someone described above as “active lifestyle/ IDGAF” short nails. But I realize that maybe 0.0000001% of the time a woman gets her nails done, with what I want in mind.
What we guys need to realize is that most women aren’t dressing to impress us. They are more likely to be concerned about projecting a certain image, following fashionable trends and impressing other women with their fashion sense, except for the active lifestyle/ IDGAF crowd that are more interested in comfort/ function. (Thank god / Lululemon for the invention/ popularization of tight yoga pants, which tick the comfort and function boxes, and can be sexy af!).
Overall, impressing us guys is generally pretty low on the list.

Trim toe nails and fingernails short. Make sure under finger nails are clean.
Shower,
Shave,
Scrub worst tough skin ridges off my feet after shower softens them.
That way less to scratch at you partner.
At at the SC can lead to the lady being more receptive to VIP activities.

You should seem when they’re texting and trying to do something on their phones. You can hear them clicking on the screen, it’s brutal.
Looks uncomfortable and a pain in the ass (perhaps literally) but that's the ladies business.
From a client perspective I'm not a fan. A regular of mine used to have long nails and it was uncomfortable in several ways, not the least of which is the sensation of garden shears near my junk. She recently cut them to a much shorter length and it's not only more attractive IMO but much more pleasurable.

I get it looks trashy, tacky, and impractical, I guess I have to agree with that.
I'm probably just out of the loop, haven't actually encountered many women with ridiculously long nails in real life. So it's still interesting to me as a novelty. At this point, I definitely wouldn't mind meeting a lady with absolute talons who would use them to scatch me up a bit, on my back, butt, balls, and cock head, specifically

I hate long fake nails, almost as much as I hate long fake eyelashes. Well, I guess I hate them equally. Just trashy, and they think they (SP's) look good 
Maybe the next stupid trend will be binding of the feet.
