Who has a time machine that can take us all back to a time before Covid, where airplane etiquette, movie theater etiquette and booking etiquette existed? Where people had respect and decency toward each other?

After chatting with a couple girlfriends in the industry about recent situations, it came to my attention that some people were never taught etiquette, while others simply are not good at making a good first impression. In an industry like this, etiquette is favored and preferred. Gentlemen, if you're looking to book with the ladies, but don't know how, or if you need a refresher crash course, this one's for you!

First things first - Always take the time to RESEARCH about the providers you are interested in. Don't be lazy! After all, this industry is about having fun and making connections. Check out her reviews, be familiar with her website, get to know what she offers and what she doesn't offer, etc. These are all important so when you contact her, you can speak to her CLEARLY and CONFIDENTLY.

1. Always Introduce Yourself and Be Friendly - Start with your name and a compliment, don't be shy, give it a try!

Introduce: "Hi, my name is Mark." (Sorry Marks!) I loved what I seen when I came across your ad."

2. Explain The Purpose - We do not respond well to messages such as "What's your menu? Your services and rates?" It shows lack of effort and care.

Explain: "I seen your website/ad and I am interested in booking some time with you."

3. Express Your Knowledge - Again, taking the time to be familiar with what your favorite ladies offer will go a long way.

Express: "I have seen your website/ad, I seen that you are offering this service for this duration and I would like to book."

4. Be Specific In Booking - We are not mind readers. (contrary to popular belief)

SPECIFY: Set a clear date and time, do not ask her a bunch of questions. Reserve those questions for during your time with her. Be mindful of your questions during your time together as personal questions can be tricky territory for both sides of the fence.

REMEMBER - She will match your energy. It starts with YOU because you are reaching out to her, not the other way around. If you will be lazy in your approach, she will be lazy in her approach. If you will be short in your introduction, she will be short in her response. Ladies in this industry are providing value by providing services that cost money. Many people message or contact your favorite providers - use this etiquette guideline to set yourself apart and let your personality shine through! Soon your favorite ladies will show you how much they appreciate your efforts!✨️

Very nice, important and informative! Also reminded me of another reason why I switched from Independents to Agencies
(not that etiquette doesn't matter when a booker is involved of course it still does, but less so I find)

If agencies is your thing, absolutely go for it! At the end of the day you want to click with the right person/people. Some people care about etquette, others don't so find what works for you. Us humans can't please everyone!

That made me laugh, I've never heard of an online confrontation with smileys before!

I was being supportive of what you said about switching from independent to agencies. You gave me a different perspective as I personally have never worked for an agency, but have worked for spas so can appreciate what you said. I know not everyone will want to reach out to providers using the recommendations I provided, and that's why the industry has different options for different people's wants and needs.

The problem with text and writing is that we can interpret things so many different ways! Glad we are supportive of each other and thank you for joining the conversation! It's healthy to have discussions and even if we don't agree with someone else's perspective, I think respectful discussions should still be had. (We've now upgraded beyond the regular smile).

Yes, you've got it! This is how I like to be connected with personally, and I agree with your statement in regards to being a regular. It's just that initial contact so that both parties feel at ease and a little more comfortable. Thanks for putting such a great example!✨️

When I text an SP I try to be polite but I don’t flirt or attempt to chat to them. I try to be brief and get to the point.

I can see how this might come off as rude but I have seen many SP’s complain about guys who over-text them with long convos that waste their time.

So…I dunno what’s best. I try not to be a dick and hope for the best.
