Lol you can't steal no frills plastic bags, the staff hold them tight with them, none are on the self checkout racks.i never gotten a free plastic bags from no frills. The no frills are just greeds, they plastic bags ripped on me at numerous occasions. You can get free plastic bags at metro, shoppers and other stores, they don't make big deal of it lol

You have no idea what you're talking about. No Frills has always handed out their plastic bags and they're the heaviest gauge plastic of any grocery store bags. All major grocery stores that still supply bags charge $0.05 ea. If you're taking them without paying, you're stealing. Obviously they're not going to chase you down if you walk out with them, but it's still theft. The Loblaws I go to, no longer has bags at the staffed aisles or self check-out. You can still ask for them but they'll add it to your bill. Sobeys only has paper bags and they're $0.10 ea. Metro still has thin, crappy bags for $0.05 ea. I presume that's where you go to steal them.

I see that Wally Mart is slowly going back to large paper bags! Did we not have paper bags in the 70s why did we go to plastic?
