I couldn’t help but lay it out there to understand how others are feeling. Gone are the days of $120hh to $140hh in Durham. The SPs seem to be raising their prices in the range of $160hh to $200hh. I understand in the west end the prices were already jacked up and they have voluminous SPs. I’m just concerned for both the availability of SPs in Durham and our affordability. It’s not like our income is also going up to match inflating prices, thanks to taxes. Hobbying affordability comes with extra cash/leftover.

Also heard from Pickering Angels, last week’s visit, that their prices are going up and N/NR options will be removed. :(

How are you guys feeling about these price hikes and affordability of hobbling in our region?

I understand that prices go up, but what are they doing extra to justify the increase? I would like to suggest car pooling - I come up from the Patch at least once a week, perhaps a couple of us here could share the gas $$$.....lol

I guess it`s the cost of having fun!

Just last week, Kaydence Kox rate on her ad was $220 H. She is super well reviewed in durham, not remotely 2nd class escort at all. I do note the rate is not posted on her ad currently, so maybe it just got increased.

Inflation is ruining it. I am no economist but it’s only downhill from here. Inflation is affecting everyone, some more than others. SP’s cannot justify the price increase due to inflation because I am not getting paid any extra to do my job. I guess this will either weed out the less financial capable clients or if their rates are too high for the services/level of service provided they would go out of business. Being financially responsible & saving is key. At the end of the day, escorting is a business & when you go see an SP you are supporting their business. My advice is do your research, save more & only invest to book well reviewed & trusted SP’s. This will eventually weed out bad business (bad SP’s), basically boycotting the market so that only reliable & good SP stay in business. The days of TOFFT/finding hidden gems are gone. TOFFT is too expensive & risky nowadays with an increase of scams during COVID. Times are a changing!

Kadence Kox is now $150hh and Miss Silver is $160hh. Nikki Jameson is $200hh. I guess the $h are not changing as much? More incentive to book hourly.

I can relate to worthiness of $$ based on reliability of service. My head was at the general level - new girls in the region that have not established their reputation and clientele as yet.

Also, Pickering Angels and LaVilla where the girls are hit and miss in terms of low restrictions and reliable service. $$ going up.

Yes I agree but lots of great providers in Durham that have not changed their rates. Monica Mimi Tina Candice. They are from 80 for 15 min to 120 half hour. These ladies are great and busy. The others raise their rates and my favourites love it Mates.

Or SPs will just stop coming here from out of town. Why go to a region where the base price is lower than what you get elsewhere? A lot will likely stay in Toronto or wherever else and not bother coming here on tours at all. Some of our local favs might even move elsewhere they can make more money from those higher rates as well.

Let’s also keep in mind that not all clients are members of TERB or other review boards. Clients who aren’t or are generally less informed about the industry will continue to pay whatever the ladies charge and not think about it. That’s how there are still so many scammers, bad SP, etc etc active as well is because these clients keep them in business.

I gladly pay what's asked if I feel I'm getting good value. It's appreciated, but I'm also extremally particular. I actually live in Durham, but never see any providers here. Tempted, but haven't yet.. Usually venture to Markham, or the city, for the selection. Quality over quantity for this guy...
