With mask mandates lifting, are you still going to wear one?

Where have you been accosted because you don’t wear a mask after the mandates lifted? People can have serious issue with anything they please and if they are not coming up to you personally while you are shopping, to say something to you, why do you care about the opinion of those others ?
I care about the well being of others and the damage this has done, the division it has caused and the relationships it has broken. Some people are not strong enough for this. Will I do anything about it IRL answer is no, just go with the flow.
I have personally seen this with some family members where I need to pretend everything in their programming, nod and agree with everything they say and observe them and their hand sanitizer squirt bottles in their front pocket squirt away subconsciously. So I need to listen to how wonderful Biden is, how good their CNN is and how evil and bad Trump is while nodding my head with mask on and agreeing with them while watching them squirt sanitizer in their hands multiple times within the hour while they are just sitting on the chair outside in the cold just so we can see them and they can see the kids. As cliché as this sounds this is actually the truth and how it goes almost every single time. I also witness this at work, hear how they talk and see how they speak against the ones who don’t wear masks and how serious it gets. So I pretend. I know if I speak my mind I will not see them anymore or my kids will miss out so I pretend. Why because I care about them over my own needs, wants and opinions. If I dared to speak my mind the relationship, experience potential especially with the kids would be severed because only their opinion is valid in their paradigm lock in their programming and they will turn on me and backlash subconsciously turning this into conscious actions starting with words, then actions. Why and how do I know. I have seen them do this to others in the family.
Here I speak my mind. IRL I pretend. I don’t lose sleep over this because I experienced worse and just try to value the time I have with people even if it’s just an exchange of ideas and thoughts in the virtual spirit land.
These are just my thoughts and opinions that get triggered when I read something and I feel like I need to chime in out of curiosity and interest and feel like I can speak my mind here and not care what people say vs. people IRL where my opinions can have serious consequences and cause the loss of experience potential with people many times just over stupid ideas.

Context matters and the context here is - you are so overly emotional about this topic because you are triggered and too afraid to speak out in real life. This is funny because for reals I actually thought I agreed with what you posted sometimes w.r.t. masks and even liked a few of your posts until I saw your comments today. I thought somewhere in the vein diagram our circle ideas crossed and agreed and sometimes they disagreed. I disagreed with some of the over the top “tone” in your posts and It is what was throwing me off. I have to run so I don’t have time to quote some of it to show you but I think because you have to be so pro-mask, pro-vaccine, anti-trump etc, as you have said, that yours post come across as mad ranting instead of point debating. If that makes sense.
It is why I asked you what I did. I needed to where the root of your emotion was coming from because it is clear as day. Like shinning through your posts. Your frustration with all the “pro“ this and “anti” that.
So I saw something behind your posts that was more then just debating the topic. You clarified it for me. I try, believe it or not, try hard not to get into things with people who have a serious emotional trigger to what is being said. I saw you being triggered. Not by trolling comments so it threw me off where it was coming from or if I was just reading the context wrong.
But we figured it out thankfully and I have to run but you can keep debating/letting your authentic feelings fly. As they should all the time I might add, especially in real life but that is a topic for another thread.
IDK which part exactly you are referring to and actually don’t even know where you stand, and I don’t keep track of posters. I try to discuss ideas and points without considering the poster identity or make it personal. Maybe this is part of the problem.
I think this issue of masks and vaccines is very complicated and can’t be answered with a few sentences. This is why I pick and choose when to chime in, when I believe I have an opinion.
If you care to know what I believe w.r.t. Covid and masks here it is:
- I am vaccinated 2x however if I had the choice I wouldn’t do it. Did it for the family and because they asked me.
- Regarding masks I don’t like them, but wear them where necessary. I didn’t agree with the masks since Omnicron and don’t think they are as effective and do more harm then good other then in high risk areas such as senior homes or where we have immune compromised people or in hospitals. I don’t think they should be worn in schools or restaurants or grocery stores. However business should have the right to make them individually mandates because people have other choice.
- I think some people are sheeple and will slowly change their perspective where they now fear unmasked but will eventually normalize to not wear it because people are not wearing it and now are actually concerned and will change the attitude. This is assuming that Covid situation does not change and is here indefinitely. These people not acting or playing the game they actually believe this. However they shouldn’t be shamed.
- some people will wear masks for a long time because they believe in them and this should be fine and they should not be shamed
- I think it should be about choice always which is important and not imposing your views on others. If you don’t agree don’t go out and get your groceries delivered unless you need to like hospitals or senior homes then there is no choice.
I don’t know why this other stuff is important but here it is:
- CNN is Garbage
- Fox is garbage
- most msn is garbage
- Trump is garbage
- Biden is garbage
- trump is better then Biden
- our political ideologies should never get in the way of friendship and relationship even though many times they do
- people should be free to believe what they choose to believe and not be shamed for it
- most of our ideologies are bullshit including my own but we should be free to believe what we want as long as we don’t force it upon someone else or cause them to change because of what we believe
- I also believe and support the laws and regulations of the society you live in even though I disagree with it like this hobby I still try my best to follow . I used to hobby before that bill was passed but now I don’t and hate it that the government takes our fundamental choice away to be free to choose to do with our bodies what we want. This is a violation of our fundamental human rights imo.
I think in a nutshell this is all my beliefs. Feel free to attack them if you wish or not whenever you want if you want.

This is what I don't understand and it has nothing to do with whatever your first language is.
If I wear a mask, how is that making society succumb to my needs? You are just intolerant of me wearing a mask.
I am fine with you wearing a mask it doesn’t bother me.
I don’t like mask mandates since omnicron and believe the government did the right decision to remove the mandates.
I am against people being shamed or excluded if they choose to wear a mask or NOT in public places or institutions and businesses that don’t mandate it.
It is making society succumb to their needs when they impose their views on the unmasked and say cancel label them or treat them differently then they would other human beings. This is happening and has been happening.
