I find his policies on the issues interesting:

The economy: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
Health care: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
National defence: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
International trade: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
Truth and reconciliation: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
Global warming: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
Sino-Canadian relations: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.
COVID response: Justin Trudeau is doing a terrible job.

Sure sounds like he has all the answers Canada needs. Go Pete Go!!!!
To be fair he's right on all those points.

On a more serious note, I think folks really underestimate Lesyn Lewis, she could be a compromise candidate between Pierre supporters and Charest supporters. Plus she is a great speaker and the libs would look stupid if they keep calling the CPC racist & sexist with her as leader.

They say she's social conservative, but the bar for that is so low for that it's basically anyone who disagrees with the woke on anything ever.

It's all fine that Charest and Lewis are in the race, and perhaps others will join, but the party membership have enough short term memory to recall that they already tried the Red Tory gambit with O'Toole last year, and lost. It makes no difference that Charest is from Quebec. He can't deliver new seats or new voters. Many people want a change away from Liberal political policies, not just to tweak them or paint them blue. Lewis and Charest could be useful cabinet ministers in a Poilievre government, so I support their joining the race for that reason.

Tanya Granic Allen should enter the race.

BREAKING NEWS: Pierre Poilievre has pulled out of the leadership race to go fight in Ukraine.

Not surprised Garcha Poilievre would side with Shiva Scheer, neither has backtracked from their support of the till recently called truckers.

Will Garcha grovel before another country's leader like Shiva did? When I watched Shiva's meeting with Narendra Modi, the look on the Indian Prime Minister's face was priceless, "does this colonialist want to give me a BJ".

No matter who is the CPC candidate, literally anyone will be an improvement over PM Blackface.

I agree with you jc, Pierre Poileivre with his rugged machismo would be a vast improvement.

Trudeau looks very Prime Ministerial in Europe, he does deserve to be dipped in squid ink.

But Trudeau stopped the swastika flag wavers who were shutting down our economy with no deaths, no martial law and no loss of freedom to protest.
Would you have preferred peepee, who would be out there in the hot tub and bouncy castles with them today if he was in power?

Well as crazy as it's sounds Charest is heading to Calgary now to build up his campaign. I cannot believe it!
Worst is the powerful business community there will most probably support him...
The powerful business community in Calgary does not support carbon taxes.
