To say that's why he wants to end the protest is a stretch. I have no doubt that protesters making a mockery of the situation helped push over the edge but he would have needed to act even if they quietly sat in their trucks the entire time. It became an occupation not a protest and they were harrassing local residents. They were disturbing the peace and refusing the leave.

Nothing pisses off businesses and citizens like having their lives and livelihoods disrupted by idiots. If they came to your neighbourhood and workplace you'd be the 1st one to be up in arms.

Real reason JT needs the protestors gone? With them there he cannot remove any mandates. If he does, it means he caved into the protestors. It will make JT look very weak.
First the truckers need to leave, then the Government can lift all the Federal Mandates. Simple politics.
