They had lots of influence, especially in the Western provinces.

You just dont like it when the other side wins 😂
What has the "other side" won? 85% of the country got vaccinated so that we could reopen and get back to normal life. The other 15% are like the 4th string QB on the Rams who watched the rest of the team do all the work but still gets to enjoy the victory thanks to those who actually contributed.

Just say thank you and enjoy the freedoms we vaccinated returned to you.

Those were anti-vaxxers. I'm talking about anti-mandaters, and thats almost 40% of the country

Pretty much😄

The trucker protest started around Jan28-29. Nearly two weeks later most of the provinces have or are in the process of removing vax mandates. That doesn't seem like a coincidence, to me at least. The protest was very effective and had an impact in these decisions.

Look at Trudeau's approval ratings. It started tanking right around the time Ottawa protest began 😂

You still don’t get it.

This wasn’t a political move.

These guys lost everything. This was their last desperate attempt at survival and many would have died holding the lines.

It stopped being political for them. It’s become a matter of life and death. They lost everything, and had no choice but to protest. Some say they would give their lives to do this and hold the line peacefully.

You just can’t understand what this is like, because you are not in this situation.

Not everything is a fucking political game. These people literally lost everything and are holding on strings.

I agree with every single word you said. Not sure how you got something different from what I wrote. I never said the protests were politically motivated, but I do think the consequences of the protest influenced the politics.

I think their human struggle is starting to wake up the people who are hypnotized through this political narrative and their mirco role redefining this narrative that they cant see how it impacts the whole. That saying stuck in the weeds and can’t see the big picture.

I believe they didn’t start this to pressure the government because they were annoyed or because they represent the right. They don’t, and they haven’t. It’s these politicians and political ideologies trying to exploit them from all sides.

I think they ran out of choice and saw no options.

I was listening to them talk on Twitter spaces last night and you could hear the pain, desperation, and them saying they are willing to die fight for this and this is their last desperate attempt type of vibes. I heard the vouchers even pretending to support them try over and over and over again biting at them and trying to take a piece and pretending that they are helping type of bs and actually believing it.

I think their human struggle helped wake up the politicians who are conscious enough to see the big picture and the doctors and scientists past what their political narrative blinded them with.

The branch covidians AKA vaccine commando's are the big losers here.

Of course legacy media fear mongering will just be ramped up even more now in an attempt to sway the election..........That's a given.

God help us if the Liberals or NDP seize power.........There would be never ending lockdowns and removal of our basic human rights.

So February 21 got pushed to February 17...why not now, is something suppose to happen on Thursday that's gonna make it so much better than doing it now?

March 14 is now going to be March 1...again...why wait until then? Is something going to happen that makes it so much better to do it March 1 than doing it now?

Probably gives people and business time to prepare, especially the ones who won’t like this.

Maybe a reasonable compromise from waiting too long to opening too soon.

Also gives them time to observe the trends.

If you know any doctors or nurses just ask them to what happened to all their colleagues and patients that recently had it.

Eventually they will accept it as a severe flu where some portion of sick will die just like they do from flu and other illnesses. Hopefully they have a good handle on the data and transmission rates to monitor and be confident of the new acceptable and reasonable standards taking the big picture into consideration.

Hospital admissions have dropped from over 4,000/day to 1,300/day.

You guys accomplished nothing.

But go ahead and celebrate anyway. We are all happy. The citizens of Ontario are happy because we won by adhering to covid protocols as well as getting vaxxed.

Why? So, he can pretend that this decision hasn't been made under pressure. Today, the warmest place in Ontario is Rob's grave- from all that spinning.

Every decision Doug has made has been from pressure. He isn’t a leader.
