So word on the street is, Douggie was recorded saying the mandates have to go and now he has to make an announcement today about it.

Anyone heard this?
Numbers are trending in the right direction so it wouldn't be a complete shock.
Either way, thank you to all vaccinated Ontarians who have made this discussion even possible. It will be mission accomplished for the vaccinated who took the necessary step to bring life back to normal.

Dougie was taken into a backroom and whipped by Trudeau. 'Try to get rid of the convoy before the announcement so that it doesn't seem like the convoy forced us to do the right thing.'

Make the lifting of the vaccine mandate announcement already, Dougie.

Well I knew he was announcing something. Guess I was wrong on what that was. Lol
Of the two choices of announcements, I think the one dealing with the blockades was the immediate priority.

I don't see anything of note happening.
The OPP has a history of dealing with blockades and its not good. Caledonia blockades with Six Nations went on for years back in 2006, always on again, off again for weeks and months at a time.
The OPP does professional development and training-just like any other organization. They know what they should've done in Caledonia. They know what went wrong in Quebec when the Surete screwed up the assault on that blockade.
There will be zero appetite within the OPP to try a version 2.0 in Ottawa.
The last time the military was called out, it was because one quebec minister was kidnapped and died in captivity, another foreign trade minister was held hostage, and mailboxes were blowing up here and there.
With the only pain and suffering so far is "inconvenience and noise" , no one will ask DND to empty out Petawawa and Valcartier to come to Ottawa.
Leadership within the army may consider this an "illegal order" and tell everyone to have a nice day.
It may come to pass that statistics will allow the powers to save face.
This will be a field day for the lawyers because no one will come out and use force in the open.

LOL...........Interesting what civil disobedience can bring isn't it?

Time to learn to live with it.

#Freedom.......
More like, it's time to get rid of the civil disobedience.

Time to learn to live with the restrictions a little longer. 😂 😂 😂 😂

Ya because the mandates and lockdowns didn’t do anything to peoples lives.
Yes it did.

It is pissing off the 10% of the population who are selfish.

Sure it did, no one wanted this. But thankfully an overwhelming majority took and still take the necessary steps to make mandates and lockdowns a thing of the past, they got vaccinated. Imagine how much sooner things could have opened up if the country wasn't being dragged by the anchor that is the unvaxxed.

From one of your own.........
Uncomfortable does not include forcing local businesses to close, making people miss paycheques, disrupting trade and hurting an already fragile economy.

Assaulting somebody would also make someone uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable is not all-encompassing. There are limits and these people are going beyond.
