So, what did I learn from the last week events?

You know who he's referring to
No, we don't. You explain to us who you mean.

Do you mean the average Canadian voter who doesn't support the alt right and who voted Liberal or NDP? All 70%+ of us.

Do you mean the news crew at politically centrist news organizations like CBC?

Do you mean Trudeau and his cabinet?

Do you mean cops?

Let's have an explanation from you.

Again, it is bot about the vaccines, god you are like a broken record lol.
What's it about then?

That the government health measures are the "first in a long line of oppressive measures to turn people into sheep-slaves"? No one believes that nonsense except a 1% minority on the very far right.

It's even sillier that ranting about the vaxxes and masks.

How do you define "agree with the vaccine mandate"? "Agree to get vaccinated" or "agree to have vaccination for all drivers crossing the border to be mandatory"? These are two VERY different things. Only a small minority argues against vaccination. Many people arguers against mandatory vaccination and against economic consequences for people refusing to get vaccinated. The protest is not against vaccination, it is to support the personal freedom
If the health and safety of the entire nation depends on people being fully vaccinated, then someone's right to refuse the vaxx interferes with my family's right to stay healthy and safe.

Highway speed limits infringe drivers' freedom to drive at 200 kph. But it keeps that driver and the rest of society safe and healthy. You cannot have absolute freedom when you live in a society with other people and government always gets to make the rules.

You don't want any rules, go live on Baffin Island with the polar bears and walruses. They live in freedom and you can as well.

We learned DJT admitted he was trying to overturn an election. His words.
Anyone who supports him now must admit he or she is in favour of a dictatorship for the USA.

You're not wrong........ it wasn't about vaccines or mandates or even about truck drivers, at least not for the organizers. This was about Lich & Co.'s personal agenda, the truck aspect was merely the mask they wore in their attempt to achieve their goals.

Here's what we really learned from the convoy.

The 3 yellow vest, wexit, Maverick Party types just raised more money than the liberals did during the election. Erin O'toole is now getting kicked out of the conservatives for being too moderate as the party realizes that the money backing their party wants them more extreme. Which means they will tread into PPC and the Maverick Party territory to chase that money and guarantee a liberal/NPD government for the next election.

It's Lich's personal coup. She's now got a proven track record as a manipulator and organizer and a massive war chest and major fund-raising cred. She can go on Fucker and Hannity and strut around and hobnob with the American fascists. She's major league now.

The only issue is what she can do to follow this success - aside from becoming a major player in the PPC and other fringe parties, I guess. The trucker shtick was highly visible and could muster some support for people who could be presented as attractive to small town Canada and Trudeau-haters. It's difficult to imagine a similar play that she could orchestrate. Anti vaxx cops are too disciplined. Ditto the military. HCW's are unlikely to be anti vaxx, aside from some cranks and grifters.

Precisely.
More than anything else, that's what infuriates me most. If you're a supporter of this and word comes out about an MOU and Citizen Committee, how do you not stop and say "what does that have to do with the plight of truckers?" and demand an answer from the organizers?
The legit protesters should have demanded that be scrapped or refuse to proceed......... but then again Lich might cut them out of the gofundme treasure she has the key to.

But as ottawa cuck keeps saying, its not about the vaccine. Its an outlet for a fringe minority who are incredibly angry, the crowd that watches Tucker attack Trudeau last night and cheers. Its that same general anger that their little world keeps getting smaller and they fit in less and less.

I learned that the federal government has no control over US border mandates, little control over provincially imposed health mandates, and people are still free in Canada to drive their car to the border or take up sailing or flying and use those means to leave Canada. Whether or not any other country lets those people in has nothing to do with Canada, "freedom", or tyranny.

Actually, I already knew those things.

Once again the Mandate is for truckers crossing the border. No one is holding a gun at your head to tell You that it is mandatory to take the vaccine. No just under 30% are against the Vaccine mandates for border crossings, including about 85%+ of truckers who have complied with the mandate. The whole reasoning behind the mandate is to protect the Health of ALL Canadians in order to combat this invisible enemy called the Covid-19. Can you explain the logic behind not wanting to be administered the vaccines, especially when it does not incur a personal cost as the Science corroborates the fact that it could eventually lead to herd immunity at a much more accelerated pace?
OK, here is the main problem with your arguments and beliefs:

1) Threatening people regular employment unless they take the vaccine is equivalent to requiring vaccine
2) Taking the vaccine is not equivalent to supporting vaccine mandate. Hell, supporting vaccination and taking vaccine is not the same as supporting vaccine mandate (I jot my booster, I support vaccination, yet I am strongly against vaccine mandate)
3) I believe the arguments against vaccination is very weak are most likely false, but I also believe that arginine against vaccine mandate are false.

1. Our Prime Minister is no leader, completely uninterested in uniting the country.
2. Our media are bought and paid for and, with very few exceptions, perfectly willing follow the party line.
3. The fervent lefty prayers for violence were not answered.
4. O'Toole is no leader and doesn't belong at the head of the future government.
5. Canada and its people are really, really tired of this bullshit- the Covid-19 AND the dog eats dog attitudes of our political and chattering classes.
6. The social media came into its own last week.
Also lots of people seem to look down on working class folks especially when they don't tow the party line. Nothing seems to trigger the woke crowd more than White people celebrating in the streets.
BTW it looks like the Cons will finally dump O'Toole's sorry ass sooner than later.
After all, who needs a Conservative leader who acts like a liberal.

The woke assholes are fighting for the working class and a brighter future....as long as they get to dictate how that future looks like. In reality they're just another sub set of the good old fascists.
O'Toole never found his place as the leader of the CPC.

90% of truckers are vaccinate and none of the organizations that represent them took part in the karenkonvoy.
Your angry yellow vests do not represent the working class.

Look at that- just hold on to something solid so you won't fall down laughing.
