I clearly don't agree with them.

But at least they're transparent when they talk about reversing economic growth and consumption (https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/22408556/save-planet-shrink-economy-degrowth) and for citizens to make enormous sacrifices.

By contrast, the climate champions who peddle fairy tales about a more prosperous green future and millions of new jobs are just courting trouble. It's not credible and will hit major resistance as soon as people realize it's total nonsense.

We're already seeing that as politicians like Joe Biden get hit with the fallout from rising gas prices. It sure didn't take him long to do a 180 and suddenly call for the pumping of more oil.

If you're going to promote a shrinking economy and less prosperous future, at least be honest about it.

For the record, I do think shocking headlines that attribute every tornado, flood, fire, etc. to climate change meet the definition of "weather porn."
