Well neither but Frycer's best season was better than Carbonneau's best season.
Yeah, Marchand is a top 15 player (maybe even higher) in the league. He can score, play a two-way game and gets under the skin of opponents. Statistically, he shines. I won't say he's a lock, but I think he has a pretty good chance of getting the call.

As a Leafs fan, I hate that SOB. As a dispassionate observer, you cannot deny his talent and production....
Gillies was a very good player for the Isles and an instrumental part of their 4 Stanley Cups. But Larmer was a far more skilled and talented player than him. Just look at their career regular season point totals, there's really no comparison.
Larmer 1,012 points in 1,006 games played
Gillies 697 points in 958 games played
Larmer is probably one of the best hockey players not in the HOF.
Gillies' size and aggressiveness opened up a lot of ice for Trottier and especially Bossy. The 3 complemented each other perfectly. He played a very different game than Larmer.
Gillies was replaced on the Trottier/Bossy line halfway thru the cup years with John Tonelli...Clark Gillies became a slow ineffective player.
In this woke era they have to make room for women. I get that and to be honest I enjoy the international games against the Americans.
The CDN women always play with so much effort and pride. It's back and forth action usually from start to finish.
But I don't think that if you add a woman that should mean that a NHL player should have what would have been his spot taken.
Just make allowances for more inductees.
Another player who played a different game was Rick Tocchet.
Arguably a better player than Gillies and had the same style.
Of course, my suggestion would be to take out the players who don’t belong and replace them with more deserving inductees...can you think of anybody that should get whacked?
I have a buddy that played jr in Kingston with Bernie Nichols...told me he got fucked every night, some times before and after a game, on the road too...just thought I’d share that little bit of info for fun.
Did anybody mention Phil Kessel? He's 34 and should reach 1,000 points next season. He could end out with about 1,100-1,200 points.

The answer is Turgeon, Nicholls, Damphousse and Roenick...and I like all them for the HOF than Phil fucking Kessell.
