That's why they should've filmed her activities inside the stall.Did she wipe properly?
It was their last resort. She hasn't held a town hall in years, and doesn't like talking to her regular constituents. That's why they should've filmed her activities inside the stall.
Wonder what the response would be if AOC was harassed like that.
Her "job obligation " is to represent her district. But, it's nice to see you lean toward the mob rule. Welcome to the dark side.If you are not going to keep promises, refuse to acknowledge voters, openly take cash, refuse to even negotiate in good faith then this is the inevitable result. The right to being treated with courtesy ends when you don't live up to the basic obligations of the job.
I want this to continue. Be expanded, her and Manchin. Do not let them rest. No flight, no meal, no meeting with donors, no sleep, no car ride, no walk through any space. Unyielding questioning of their motives until they finally serve the interests of the American people and not the donors. Or quit.
This is grass roots protest at its finest. The people were polite, asked what it would take to get her to negotiate, and told stories of how the legislation would personally help them.
Let it grow.
Yes it is. And she isn't, is she? Her fellow Senator in the Same state is voting for it. Polls are showing a hard approval for the bill. Even from GOP voters. We are talking 70%+. She ran on these very things and there is campaign interviews and commercials to prove it.Her "job obligation " is to represent her district. But, it's nice to see you lean toward the mob rule. Welcome to the dark side.
The latest note on Twitter was from Rachel Bitecoffer - who I respect - and essentially hinted that the ongoing stalking would simply drive Sinema to cross the floor to the GOP. That would achieve nothing and primarying Sinema would appear more useful and appropriate. If you are not going to keep promises, refuse to acknowledge voters, openly take cash, refuse to even negotiate in good faith then this is the inevitable result. There needs to be consequences. And even WV polling shows its popular. His taking $500,000 per year from Coal companies is his motivation. The latest note on Twitter was from Rachel Bitecoffer - who I respect - and essentially hinted that the ongoing stalking would simply drive Sinema to cross the floor to the GOP. Manchin is a Dem anomaly in a very deep red state and is probably doing whatever it takes to keep his seat. If you harass Manchin, he either crosses openly to the GOP or loses his seat in the next go-round. Sinema is a slightly different issue because AZ can return Dem senators potentially on a regular basis. But still, the harassment will end up being counter productive.
You appear to operate under the illusion that simple activism will convert red state America into a progressive neo socialist paradise. It ain't going to happen. An elephant will not fly over the earth simply because you paint wings on it. This is the flip side of Dutch believing that if all Tories espoused the politics of Maxime Bernier, tens of millions of patriotic Canadians would heave a mighty grunt of joy and rush out to anoint the new party in an overwhelming vote of approval. It's silly. Politics takes the shape and form it does because it follows the existing beliefs and preferences of the mass of voters.
If Sinema is that blatant, people standing outside her stall while she pees are not going to make her honest and responsible. There needs to be consequences. And even WV polling shows its popular. His taking $500,000 per year from Coal companies is his motivation.
They are breaking the so called norms with their corruption. There are blatently refusing to pass good legislation for cash. This bill has the support of the President, all Democratic Leadership and over 70% of the nation. What the fuck else are good people supposed to do?
1. I've never said any such thing, Mr. One Straw Man Trick Pony. This is the flip side of Dutch believing that if all Tories espoused the politics of Maxime Bernier, tens of millions of patriotic Canadians would heave a mighty grunt of approval and rush out to anoint the new party in an overwhelming vote of approval.
Probably not. But it sends a message to the next one. And more importantly hopefully attracts a better candidate. Let the bitch suffer for her cash. She is already a member of the GOP IMOIf Sinema is that blatant, people standing outside her stall while she pees are not going to make her honest and responsible.
But that's the problem. Her district is in favour of these bills. But she's getting big paydays from pharma companies that going to be hurt by provisions that would make drug prices cheaper. Or other interested that don't want to see taxes rise on their business interests or their income. Same with Manchin. His constituents want better roads. His district has some of the worst in the US. He also stands to lose money if climate change measures are adopted, since he makes something like $500K in dividends fro coal investments...Her "job obligation " is to represent her district. She like Manchin is a moderate. No thinking person would support a 3.5 TRILLION porkulous advanced by the ideological idiots. Is the inflation not bad enough, yet?But that's the problem. Back to Sinema, I agree that protesting politicians at home or at dinner is too much. But I also understand the anger of these people, since she doesn't hold office hours or town halls. She basically ignores them, unless they're willing to make a donation.
Sinema won Arizona because she is a Left of Center Democrat. Much of this talk of primarying on the left or the right (with Republicans) often leads to a primary winner that can't win the General. You have had a minority in both parties trying to dictate legislation whenever they take over the Senate or House. She's not that likeable. I'm sure that you can say that about many US politicians, except Sinema stands out and is currently the eye of the storm re the infrastructure bill.
It's pretty clear that she is going to be primaried, although that's years down the line. There is considerable blow back re the harassment by demonstrators though.
But the issue as i understand it from Butler and Silent is that the voters are in favour of this legislation and Sinema is being bought by Big $ donors to oppose it and simply avoids dealing w her constituents now.Sinema won Arizona because she is a Left of Center Democrat.
