OK, Kirk. That's a super violent right wing vigilante. He just came up in my Twitter feed at random; but these assholes do almost every day.

You owe me TWENTY-FIVE violent lefties and I want to see them in this thread by tomorrow.
93% of BLM protests were non violent versus the 39% of republicans who think political violence is justifiable.
Even on this board the only ones backing political violence are right wingers.

Poll Finds Nearly 40 Percent of Republicans Think Political Violence Is Justifiable and Could Be Necessary

She is apparently not even returning calls from the White House now.
The US system is screwed up at every level. There is no party discipline, in the sense that parliamentary democracies understand it. Each senator is an independent maverick with his / her own war chest. This is exacerbated by the filibuster. Throw in super PAC's. Throw in gerrymandering (for the HoR).

A player like Sinema can hold the entire country to ransom and get paid off in favours and campaign funds.

First let's define lefties. Some anarchist who wants neither trump nor biden may technically be a lefty but democrats bear ZERO responsibility for him and his ilk.
Conversely, republicans have 100% responsibility for their degenerates as they brainwash them and guide them.
There must be at least 25 violent lefties left in Cuba. Go this winter on a fact finding tour...

Or she's just like every other senator in the US, just beholden to different purchasers.

Basically she feels that No party owns a vote. They have to be earned every time. And every vote is the correct vote, including the one not given, if the person comes by their choice honestly.

So she can do whatever she wants for whatever kind of reward she wants.

It's a very toxic attitude.

The Dems can always primary her before her next election and thereby try to make her run under another party or as an independent. In the meantime, she can vote her conscience, according to what she perceives the needs of her constitiuency to be.

Toxic. 🙃

Nice. Comparing the little guy vote to a Reps vote. Too bad its wrong. Her job is to vote the way her constituents demand. And the way she hersrlf promised to in the election. And the polling is clear on that.

And the fact you are now defending her says where you really stand. Fuck helping to alleviate poverty and get better medical care. Because the principle of her right to sell her vote is far more important to American democracy.

What on earth makes you think I'm defending her?
I'm comparing her to you and you know I think your political understanding and instincts are comically bad.
I have to admit, though, your push back on Sinema is heartening to me.
I gave decent odds that since she is going against Dem leadership you would take her side.
I am pleasantly surprised.

Really? I'm against the Dem Leadership when they act like Sinema and Manchin. In this case they aren't.

But what does it say if the bills fail?

He was repeating my sig line. The final sentence was a backhand at me. I called him on it. Read his post he says she can do what she wants. Basically he is purposefully misinterpreting my sig for a cheap shot.

And won't admit she should not be a member of the Democrats.

How is that "defending" her?

And afa being a "member of the Democrats", they need that vote to get anything done in the Senate, whether they like her or not.

They dont have it. She is obviously a Trojan Horse now. The bill is dead. Both probably. So if she will never vote for it, as she has clearly indicated, whats left?

This is what Biden and the Georgia elections were about. These promises. All now dead. A complete failure. The first bill to help has a one year time limit. So once its gone its back to the status quo of what was under Trump. Absolutely no changes. To anything. Taxes, Social programs, immigration reform.

And he will lose the Senate and or House. Meaning his was just as I predicted. A do nothing caretaker Presidency. And in 2023 the probability of more right wing legislation with bypartisan passage.

It isn't about who the fuck is in, it's about what the fuck gets done.

Ok, I don't like her either.

But the system itself is fucked probably beyond fixing. The only comparison I can come up with is the Polish parliament in the 1700's when every member had a veto on all legislation and the Russians and Germans bribed selected members of the parliament to veto all defence bills for a couple of decades until there was no Polish army left and then simply marched into Poland and it ceased to exist.

The US system works ok when there are 2 moderate parties with a lot of common ground and compromises can reliably and frequently be ironed out. It fails totally when one party simply decides not to play and the US will probably disintegrate within the next 30 years.

Short of killing Sinema and winning a special election with a loyal, honourable Dem senator, they're fucked.

Nothing can be done.

Its almost to the point where butler's dream fantasy, his accelerationist movement, is going to hit the US for the next elections. The dems are getting tired of a party that doesn't do what they want or can't do anything and the butlers and jcpro's are backing ignoring election results.

Sineman or Manchin or someone else will likely stop Biden now and the GOP has put enough work into installing people who won't respect or will cheat the next election results.

Huh? So violent left extem
25 to 1??!!??!!??....

You got hard stats for that, Kirk? And a reputable source?

Because - last I checked - "lefties" didn't shit in the halls of the Capitol on Jan 6, nor did they steal shit from Pelosi's office, nor were they the ones beating the crap out of bystanders, journalists and cops in Melbourne last month.
I guess you were asleep for most of 2020? The source is observation. Anyone with a properly functioning mind would see it. Jan 6 was overwhelmingly a peaceful rally. There were hundreds of thousands of people there. How many have been charged with violence on that day? There was more violence at one BLM protest than on Jan 6.
The left's attempts to paint Jan 6 as an insurrection is a mockery.

It's simple.
Every person who marched in support of racial justice counts as violent in his eyes.
Therefore there are more violent lefties.
See?
Simple.
19 people died in 14 days of protests following George Floyd's death.
3,000+ police officers were injured by bricks, flying projectiles (frozen water bottles mostly), Molotov cocktails and vehicles.
Thousands of arrests for assault, theft, arson, resisting arrest.
Scores of businesses looted and burned to the ground. Churches, police detachments, courthouses set ablaze.

But ya mostly peaceful.
