It's getting a little more serious, local sponsors (Desjardins Group, St-Hubert BBQ, La Cage Brasserie Sportive sports bar, and pharmacy chain Jean-Coutu Group) consider pulling out sponsership deals and Quebec politicians are getting involved.

Well ''bud'' since neither I nor you know exactly what she did for the Coyotes . Then I don't know what the level of her credibility is. I do know she's a woke writer writing an opinion hit piece that was published in a woke newspaper. That says volumes on it's own.
You are playing word games and failing. Who cares what she did exactly. An NHL team hired her because she has expertise that they regard as substantial. If she was a scout, a coach, an assistant coach or whatever for an NHL team, she knows what the fuck she's talking about in regards to hockey. And that's the bottom line.

Like I said, each time you try to argue against what is inarguable, you keep making yourself look silly. Please post more pics of tan line girls.

Believe you me, those companies have their collective finger on the pulse of public opinion. They can see that the public does not like it.

The guys defending the pick are societal knuckle draggers. They need to realize that the world is moving on from the time of their grandfathers.

Especially Desjardins group, they manage $280B in assets. That's a lot of influence.

Since I nor you know exactly what her job was exactly then no I wouldn't say she any unique knowledge of hockey culture.

Hey Oracle, you're trying to reason with Shack which is an impossible task. Just three days ago, he pissed off chuckertmg. Before that he pissed off Butler1000 and Phil McNasty and before that it was Wazup and before that it was Goosifer and Medman52 and most likely other members as well. He has a unique "talent" of pissing off people and yes, he loves to virtue signal too.

You know he does seem really irritated and frustrated lately......

Justin shouldn’t have commented, he’s got MP’s that have and probably continue to do worse...
He shouldn't have said anything because he is just as guilty of rude behavior towards women and minorities.
Right or wrong the Canadians are giving this kid a second chance. Justin has had more than enough chances to stop being a complete foul.

I am obviously living in your head as you go way back in time to research my posting history. I don't even remember most of those debates. Please inform everyone how far back you went to research Goosifer and Medman. What were the threads? Is Goosifer even still a member?

You only come out from your turtle shell when you can hide behind somebody's skirt. You are afraid to debate anybody who challenges you. BTW, who doesn't debate with Butler and argue with Phil? But they deserve some respect because they are not afraid to fight their own battles.

Do you think that the lady who wrote the opinion piece is lying about her employment to gain credibility as Oracle is suggesting, because that is his only debating tactic left? It is a fair and simple question. What is your opinion on the content of my debate with Oracle. At least he is honourable enough to debate.

The debate started when I had a different opinion on whether drafting Mailloux was a gutsy move, which was YOUR assertion. In the meantime you have not responded and you happily let let Oracle fight your battle. You make a comment and show no assertion to back it up.

Show all the posters that I am wrong and that you can fight your own battles and that you are not a chronic masturturtler.

No need to get frustrated when toying with you and turtleman is so easy. You doubted her cred and I quoted her references. You have come up with nothing to refute that=no frustration.

She says that she has worked as a goalie coach and was also in the development department of the Coyotes as well. You say that you are doubtful of her claims. On what basis?

GEOFF MOLSON ISSUES STATEMENT ADMITTING HABS ERRED IN SELECTING MAILLOUX

MONTREAL - Canadiens Owner, President and CEO, Geoff Molson, has issued the following letter on the team's decision to draft Logan Mailloux.
Message to everyone impacted by our decision:
I want to share with you my perspective on our decision to select Logan Mailloux in the 2021 NHL Draft. This decision, made in the context of the Draft, turned out to be instantaneously very offensive to many of you.
I understand that you expect more from us and we let you down. The Montreal Canadiens are more than a hockey team. Logan's actions do not reflect the values of our organization and I apologize for the pain this selection has caused.
First and foremost, regarding the young woman who is the victim, I want to say that we do not minimize what she has had to, and continues to have to, live through. No one, especially not an 18-year-old, should have to suffer through a traumatic experience like this. We are there to support her and her family and respect their privacy.
Our selection of Logan was never intended to be disrespectful towards her or her family, or more generally towards women or other victims of similar situations. Our decision was not intended, in any shape or form, to be an endorsement of the culture of violence against women.
Logan is a young man who committed a serious transgression. He is genuinely remorseful about the pain he has caused. He is committed to becoming a better person and we will work with him through this process.
At this stage, it is only our actions that will speak louder than our words.

1. Over the course of the next few months, we will develop in conjunction with local experts, a comprehensive plan to raise awareness and educate young men and young women about this serious issue. We will use our platform and our resources to turn a decision that hurt many people into one that brings meaningful and impactful change.
2. We will support and oversee Logan's commitment to becoming a better person.
3. We have asked Logan not to participate in our rookie or main training camp this fall. Being a player in the NHL is a privilege that is earned - not a right that is granted. As the year progresses, we will reassess Logan's readiness to be part of our organization.
We gave Logan a second chance but in doing so, we failed to properly assess the impact of our decision on the victim and on anyone who have suffered in similar circumstances. Once again, I want to apologize to everyone impacted by our decision.
I repeat, our actions will speak louder than our words. We will work to continue proving we are an organization this community and our fans can be proud of.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone that provided their feedback on this situation, including our partners and sponsors, so that this mistake becomes an opportunity to grow and raise awareness.

I am waiting for Oracle to:

1)question Molson's qualifications to have this opinion, which by the way is the same as Catherine Silverman a goaltending coach and analyst based in Phoenix. In addition to her work with InGoal Magazine and Elite Prospects, she has worked with the Arizona Coyotes Department of Hockey Development and The Athletic, focusing on both goaltending and youth hockey development.

2)speak on behalf of his little sidekick Turtle Boy who is afraid to debate.

What would Jean Beliveau say?

'' NHL analyst looking to continue working in professional sports analysis and player development, particularly in hockey and ice hockey goaltending. Two years experience covering the AHL, CHL, and NHL from an analytical media perspective, over 5 years experience working in social media publications and online print journalism. Former credentialed member of the media for the Arizona Coyotes, current member of the team Department of Hockey Development. Concentration on analysis from a media perspective in order to gain the experience needed to concentrate primarily on goaltending and player sustainability. Interested in looking at the league in relation to international hockey, team operations, and player development. ''

Once again and for the last time I might add. I have no idea what a member of the team department of hockey development actually means. If she was an actual coach for the Coyotes then why not just come out and say that. I surmise because she never was. But maybe I'm in error.
