A very satisfactory series from a Yankee fan's point of view if I don't say so myself......

Blue Jays were on the wrong end of a lot of bad calls and weird plays this week .

Everything that could have gone wrong did. Things will even out though.

Lots of ball to play - but our pen is garbage.

That was fun to watch, for a change. Jays down 7-4 going into the 9th and put up a 6 spot.

Nice way to stop a 5 game losing streak and give the team a bit of a lift. Right now, though, they are too inconsistent.

Anyone remember Jim Clancy's Consumer Gas commercial from 1983?
I do! Almost as good as “be nice clean your ice. Lloyd Mosby and Wendell Clark 1988. Lol.

Agree @shack - nice to see they kept Romano to come out in the 9th as well. Great win.

I gave up watching around the 7th inning, but came back in the 9th, glad I did, what a comeback!!!

Bo's AB in 9th was highlight of game.

There was nobody else that Montoyo trusted. I laughed when I saw Chatwood warming up in the bullpen.

Who's this new reliever that they picked up? Any good?

31 year old journeyman.
Below average -0.4 W.A.R. this year, -0.3 W.A.R. career
Best description of him: He's a healthy arm.
Toronto is his 5th organization.

Jays magic number to win the division is down to 99.

They have 92 games left on their schedule.

Five Blue Jays are in the top three, (top nine for outfielders), in votes received for Phase 1 of voting for this year's All Star Game, (ends Thursday), including first place at their position for Guerrero Jr and Semien. In Phase 2, only the top three at each position/ top nine outfielders are eligible for selection as starters in the ASG. Players who don't advance to Phase 2 can still be selected as reserves.

Vladdy won't participate in HR derby.
If he did, it could only be neutral or bad for the team. They must have talked him out of it because he said that he was leaning towards participating.

With the MLB now implementing a rule to check pitchers for foreign substance, what a shit show the games have now become. The opposing team should not have the ability to initiate the review, it should be up to the umpires discretion. Now the opposiing team can use this as a tactic to throw a pitchers off their game and now delay the game even longer than it already needs to be.

I thought MLB wanted to speed up the games.

Pearson injures groin again.

Hope he's not like Sanchez, flashes of greatness, often injured (Sanchez had on going blister problems)
