When you are scoring 5 or more runs for your pitcher - how are you still losing. My god this team is frustrating.

With Jays batting lineup, they should be scoring way more than 5 runs/game, can't wait until Springer is totally healthy, that'll add more runs/game. also their bullpen sucks big time except for Romano.

They need Merryweather and Phelps back ASAP

That shouldn't be terribly surprising. Probably most of NY state are Yankee fans
Yeah I know that. But because of Trudeau (who lets NHL teams into the country, but not MLB teams) we are now playing away games in Buffalo against the Yankees, and also away games against Tampa when they were in Dunedin

Phelps is officially out for the rest of the season. Merryweather would certainly help, as would Borucki. In addition, why not bring up Hatch and Pearson to pitch in the bullpen?

Hope Vladdy doesn't take part in HR Derby , it might fuck up his swing like it did in 2019, although balls are gonna fly out of the stadium since the game will be in Denver.

Only the Canadian teams were allowed in but were not allowed to leave and come back again after that. How do you propose that would work for MLB?

And rates of infection are still higher in the US than in Canada.

Do you want to turn this into a political discussion?

I'm saying the whole rule is idiocy. Teams represent 50 people or so (including players, coaches, staff...etc).
Meanwhile thousands of truck drivers pass through the border every day, what difference are 50 people gonna make??
Just test the players twice a day and it shouldnt have been a problem

Sure, why not

The fact that Canada currently still has a lower rate of infection than the US gives credence to the policies of the Trudeau administration.

Canada is #1 in vaccinations (a higher %age of Canucks have at least partial immunity than any other country).

HHmm....so the Las Vegas Knights are allowed to come into the Bell centre this friday to play Montreal, but the Jays are not??!!

Yeah, sounds perfectly fair 🙄

This is the first time in almost a year and a half. And Trudeau getting at least partial immunity to 70% of the population has a lot to do with that.

I predict there will be fans in attendance at the dome well before the end of the season.

I thought that last night was a great game for the Jays. The bullpen did not blow a lead.

I was thinking it would be a good idea to have a third base coach tell the baserunners what to do.
