My apologies in advance for the length of this post - but as the Habs are not playing (and beating) the Jets until tomorrow night I had some time on my hands.
As Fun for All is in full blown Habs as the Evil Empire mode maybe it is time to look at some of the myths and expose or explode them.
So first myth - is it true that the Hab’s had a complete monopoly or first choice of all hockey players from Quebec? – the answer is no as explored in the two articles linked below:
https://thehockeywriters.com/habs-french-canadian-rule/
https://www.nhltraderumors.me/2019/09/the-truth-behind-canadiens-first-choice.html
Except for having the first right to 2 players they played by the same rules as all other teams. Apparently none (that is right ZERO) of the players selected by the Hab's first right ever played in the NHL. The reality is that Hab’s management at the time was just better at using the same system available to all NHL teams to scout, draft and trade for talent.
Then of course there is that whole Richard Riot thing that Fun for All ignores in his list of examples of how the Hab’s control the NHL. Of course, in Fun for All’s tin foil hat world the Richard suspension was really a “false flag” and was orchestrated by the Hab’s in collusion with the NHL. The riot never really happened it was staged by paid actors, Richard actually won the scoring title but agreed not to claim it, and the whole thing was just an elaborate clever long con to divert attention from the Hab’s truly diabolical and evil plan for NHL domination.

But Fun for All missed some of the most egregious cheating by the Habs that has gone on for decades. The reason he missed them is that they are only known to the Hab’s Illuminati, and you must have the secret decoder ring to access the deep dark web sites where the proof resides.
- The Hab’s organist and public address announcers for years have been able to exert mind control over opposing players and coaches. Those song lyrics and announcements in French are code word triggers that make opposing teams shoot wide and take stupid penalties.
- As back-up to the system outlined above the Hab’s paid Don Cherry off to confuse his players into taking that infamous too many men on the ice penalty in the1979 Game 7 Semi Final.
- There was a system built into the ice in the goal crease that allowed the Hab’s to move the nets. Guy Lafleur’s game tying goal in 1979 was going a foot wide but the net was moved over. If you watch the replay on super-secret slow motion you can clearly see the net move. The same system was used in reverse to make Patrick Roy look like a good goalie in the 1986 and 1993 Stanley Cup wins when really he was a shitty goalie.
- All of the extremely questionable trades and draft choices made by the Habs over the last several decades – well again those are just part of the Hab’s ongoing master plan to regain their rightful place on top of the NHL. They were not actually supposed to win in the playoffs this year – but when they met the Leafs in the first round they said Fuck the plan – let’s beat those guys.
So Fun for All you have pierced the Hab’s veil of deception, you alone have peeked behind the curtain and seen the Wizard (or Le Sorcier as the case may be)
Your reward will be to watch the Hab’s win the North Division.
