Lindor will receive a $21 million signing bonus and a $32 million annual salary, with $5 million of that salary deferred for 10 years, to be paid out from 2032-2041.
initial reports was that non was deferred. One of the issues they were squabbling about. 5 million is peanuts though.
The Atlanta Braves are deeply disappointed by the decision of Major League Baseball to move its’ 2021 All Star Game.
This was neither our decision, nor our recommendation and we are saddened that fans will not be able to see this event in our city. The Braves organization will continue to stress the importance of equal voting opportunities and we had hoped our city could use this event as a platform to enhance the discussion. Our city has always been known as a uniter in divided times and we will miss the opportunity to address issues that are important to our community.
Unfortunately, businesses, employees, and fans in Georgia are the victims of this decision.
We will continue to support the community legacy projects which have been planned and are in process.

I am sure. I don't like it.
The reason, somehow, that they still have it is because the league and MLBPA could not reach an agreement on rule changes in the off season so since it was a rule last year, it stays for this year.
I think that their agreement expires after this year so hopefully it will be gone for the next season that they play.
It's an International thing...it's also used up here in Youth ball...they don't want 18 inning 6-hour games...I'm not sure if I like it in MLB.

I said "start time" is 4:00. The telecast starts at 4:00.
Just for a change today, I'm going to watch on TV but listen to the radio broadcast.
