True story

My workplace, Big COVID outbreak no one wearing mask. 😱

Upper Management makes mask wearing mandatory. EVEN for those with “health issues”. Don’t want to wear one fuck off and go live on EI. No one does.

One reported case since going on three months now. 300 plus employees in the hottest COVID spot in Ontario.

Are we going back to the start where we discussed the difference between stopping droplets or aerosols carrying a virus and stopping the very few free virions? All evidence says the vast majority of infection if from droplets and aerosols. If masks reduce the amount of droplets, they reduce the amount of transmission.

p.s . covid is believed to have a size between 50 nm and 140 nm. Surgical masks tested by the FDA have been shown to filter around 80% of particles in that size range.

The numbers clearly show masks havent made an impact whatsoever

Current masks arent working. Mass-wearing of N95 masks is whats needed
Current masks are working, if used correctly, statistic have proved this repeatedly.
N95, I agree are better but facial hair negates any increase in effectiveness over regular cloth masks as well as N95 masks with exhale valves.
If we can't get some people to wear a simple piece of cloth over their face for 5 min, do you really think we can get everyone to shave their facial hair to improve a mask seal?
https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2020/06/4...of people who,studies of real-world scenarios.
A section in the above link notes this. " However, both Rutherford and Chin-Hong cautioned against N95 masks with valves (commonly used in construction to prevent the inhalation of dust) because they do not protect those around you. These one-way valves close when the wearer breathes in, but open when the wearer breathes out, allowing unfiltered air and droplets to escape. Chin-Hong said that anyone wearing a valved mask would need to wear a surgical or cloth mask over it."

Do you think repeated the same bullshit over and over makes it true?

BTW. You've already proven to us that the end of the first wave was when people started wearing masks in public.

Nope, the first wave was ended because of the lockdown, and so was the 2nd wave we are currently in
