It was for those who think the Leafs are just a bunch of weaklings and to beat them just need to hit them.
Let's put it this way, you have to be a fool not to see that Muzzin out and Marincin in vs Columbus hurt them immensely.
Do you not even remember what Barrie looked like on the Leafs? For such a highly touted defenseman he was scary even as a bottom pairing with Dermott let alone top pairing with Rielly. Does Rielly not look better with Brodie? Does Lehtonen/Dermott not look better with Bogosian? Marincin as a 7th would have played a game already this season.
Of course you can always say the team can get better.
You want Pietrangelo manning the Leafs blue line?
Wake up man, this is the salary cap era.

Were you the one who predicted Simmonds would not score more than 5 goals all season?
It's less than 25% into the season.

Are you also in denial that your Habs have played a whopping 5 games versus Vancouver?
i did say simmonds would not score more than 5, good for him. also, i,m not a habs fan;).

Technically he hasn't scored more than 5 yet and now he's injured.
There's no shame in being a Habs fan. They do have Bob Gainey in the Hall of Fame after all.
When hockey fans go to the HHOF they first want to see the Stanley cup, then Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe memorabilia. Only Darts lines up to see Bob Gainey. LOL!

45 years since Darryl Sittler's 10 point night (6G 4A).

Scott Sabourin has been signed to a 1 year, $700K/$250K deal by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

For those who think they know his name, but can't quite place it?
If you recall a game vs. Ottawa where AM34 half-turned a Senators' player around so he could read the guy's name?
Him.
NHL Statistics: 35gp 2G 4A 33p.i.m. -6, for those who like +/-

It sounds like this guy adds some grit with Simmonds and Thornton out.

I remember Gary Sabourin with the Blues.

Looks like the Leafs only needed to show up in the 3rd to win. However, they won't get away with it in the playoffs. Andersen stole this one.

Good thing they don't end games after 2 periods. Also known as the Bob Gainey rule.

Not the best win, but a win is a win. True test will be next games against the Habs.

I remember Gary Sabourin with the Blues.
I remember him, and Garry Player, also with St. Louis.
Unger held the NHL consecutive games played streak for a long time, as I recall.
