Nylander made a great play to set up the tying goal. So according to Shack he’s now entitled to a screwup in the third lol.

I don't think that's exactly the way it works. But good job at trying to twist my words.

Leafs now up 3-1 against the "best goalie of our generation". He keeps getting beat up high. He should have had the Holl goal. He had a clear view.

Just as everyone predicted, Leafs would be led to victory by the offensive production of Dermott, Holl and Mikhayev.

Any successful team has the lesser lights sometimes carry the day. One can never predict when that will be.

Leafs looked totally out of sync again for the first two periods and relied on Andersen. Pretty much a replay of Monday.

The Leafs were outshot by a moderate amount, but at the same time, from what I saw, they did not give up a lot of really dangerous chances. I thought that they did decent job in their end of the ice.

35-24, 12 of the TML shots were in the 3rd period.
FA31 looked shaky on the 1st Montreal goal, but settled down and was sharp the rest of the way.
It looked like it took a while for the Schwartz's corn beef sandwiches to settle in the players' stomachs.

Another great win, agree with @gcostanza, thought FA31 was gonna have one of those nights. The thing with this Leaf team is that even they are down 2, we know they can claw back. When they were down 1 I was still thinking it was like 0-0.

I think the close MTL fore checking style also shook the boys up a little. And they may have been yawny after sweeping low grade Vanucks.

This Leafs D is the best I've seen in awhile. Adding Brodie & Bogosian while subtracting Ceci & Barrie has been such a difference maker. Holl & Dermott have been improved, too. No Marincin is also key to a good defensive team.

The Leafs came out a bit flat last night, but nowhere near as poor as last game vs Van. FA31 did look shaky on the 1st shot/goal, but he settled in and another W for the good guys.

MTL & TOR are the early cream of the crop in the division. Tier 2 is WPG & EDM with tier 3 being CGY & VAN. OTT is clearly in a rebuilding tier of their own.

So strange. Played great at the beginning last year. Got a nice extension & then his play dropped off. This year he's really solidifying himself. And that clapper last night?? 🔥🔥 Didn't know he had that tool

I agree.
I remember watching him with the Marlies live before he got a look, I couldn't understand why he never got a shot.
He had all the skills and qualities to at least see if he could adapt to the big league.
I've always liked his composure.
