Campbell was hurt late in today's game.
If it's just a bruise, something minor, Andersen will be starting the next couple games anyway.
If it's much more than that, we'll see Michael Hutchinson in a backup role.
I just watched the reply and it confirmed my doubt, Tkachuk falling on top of Campbell deliberately hitting his back and head with his knees. It was a dirty play.

I agree, it was another dirty play by a dirty player...they play Tuesday I believe, Leafs need to show some payback...either kick the shit out of him or run their goalie or Gaudreau or something that makes up for it.

Tkachuk is one of those good players that walks the line of dirty or not. Its a shame cause Campbell is finally the backup goalie the Leafs need cause he actually wins games.

Marner 2 more assists. Too bad assists don't count.
Mitch Marner’s first assist Sunday was the 300th point of his NHL career. It took him 307 games, which was third-fastest in Leafs history (behind only Syl Apps at 284 and Charlie Conacher at 294).

Totally dirty play. Tkachuk jumped on Campbell's back. Nobody even touched him. He was struggling to get up on his skates. Can't find anything on an injury though. We'll see if he dresses as on Tuesday. He's turning out to be a solid back up, giving the team some confidence.

Give me a break...he didn't have to land with both knees on the goalies back, that was embellished....

Lucic know's the code and he know's Tkachuk has to stand up for himself...if Tkachuk is going to play like that he has to fight his own battles, Lucic didn't fight Kassian for him.

I agree that Tkachuk's play was borderline - he was not pushed very hard by the Leaf's player - and he made no effort to soften his landing. But Campbell was already hurt and favoring his leg as it looked like he "tweaked" something on a save a few minutes earlier - don't think Tkachuk landing on his back did anything to aggravate the earlier injury.

What? Watch the video from 1:00. At 1:07 he falls on Campbell then slams his left knee into his back. That's a dirty play.

good luck with that. this tkachuck kid is a hard ticket.
Tkachuk isn't a pussy, I know that...he still will have to answer for it...I'd go after the Calgary goalie or Gaudreau too...they play each other a lot this year.

Campbell out is a big loss. If Hutch ever plays it's an auto throw away game.
If Toronto gets Colorado Hutch (admittedly a small sample size~1 reg season/3 playoff 3-1 record), they've got a chance, if it's 2019-20 Toronto Hutch, yes, they're in trouble.

Is that all they have?
What happens when Anderson goes out?
