lots of good times at the Coronet movie theatre on Yonge. It became the Coronet Jeweley Exchange, which I've never been in. However, I do remember seeing The Song Remains the Same, and other classics there during my early teen years. Always more fun in the balcony. Safer too, as things would land on the lower level seating. Ah - some good memories of a mis-spend youth :)

I miss the World's Biggest Bookstore! Spent a LOT of time in that place.
The World's Biggest Bookstore was previously a bowling alley. I bet you did not know that.

Aren't they "The Source" now?
Yes, that is correct. For legal reasons the name had to be changed.
Radio Shack is still in the USA

The cineplex theatres in the Eaton Centre.

Anyone remember when the south part (there was no fountain yet) of the Eaton Centre wasn't open yet?

I only went there once, back in '85 to watch Jays vs Royals in the ALCS, only thing I remember is that we were served by this french canadian waitress, oooh what a sexy french accent! LOL

Remember when malls and almost every retail store were closed on Sundays?!
Wasn't it an old city bylaw that they weren't allowed to open?
