The Queensbury relocated to Weston Road north of Eglinton. Then it was demolished for a row of cheap townhouses. Was a good music venue when on Weston Road.

Gone - but not forgotten...
That place was the most notorious strip club in all of Ontario. Had a honey sit beside me start feeling me up and told me next time I go there to wear loose fitting jogging pants. A couple of times while walking to the washroom I would see used condoms on the floor. Was there one night when the cops raided the place. Luckily I was being a good boy at the time. This was in the 1960s

The Conroy Hotel, on Dufferin St. North of Lawrence. Was owned by the hockey Conacher Bros. It had the highest volume sales of beer in the city. In 1959 I was taken to the Parkdale Hotel on Queen St. West of Dufferin by my uncle's. Draft beer in small 8 ounce glasses, price 15cents a glass.
