There is still a recognizable Red Barn building in Hamilton at the corner of Queenston Rd and Walter Ave. It's a Thai place now but you can still see the basic outline and the hipped-roof.The Red Barn

Amazing condition apart from the tuner buttons. Mild flame, depending on the light. $8,500. Sold it in 2011. Early '59 with narrow frets. The tuner buttons were starting to shrink and disintegrate in 2010, as was usually the case with the original plastic tuning buttons on Gibsons (and Gretsch bindings and pickguards as well).Nice nice nice. Nice. I got a 62 Cream white Strat in 1974 in Toronto. $225.00 Still got it.Amazing condition apart from the tuner buttons. Mild flame, depending on the light. $8,500. Sold it in 2011. I would have got a lot more for it if the flame had been more pronounced, and wide frets, but I did OK. Wish I could have bought 10 of them in 1983, cuz Guitar Trader had that many in stock...

I partook of their bargoon meal back in 1973. My first month in Toronto. If you ever watched "going down the road" I was a carbon copy of one of those guys. Was that on Dundas? It’s a Mr. Sub now.
