Whether you agree or disagree with them actually working
What is the point?

We lockdown stuff like shopping and people travel to other regions (spreading if you believe in the virus, or doing nothing if you think its a hoax)

We get hundreds and thousands congregating EVERY single day in major cities (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary etc(
So even if you do believe in concept of lockdown it is beyond obvious noone is listening

And you have proof and data on that?
Well
IF they were getting sick they would not be out protesting right?

IF they were getting sick they would not be encouraging friends / family / neighbours to protest right?

The groups are growing stronger BECAUSE more are joining the cause

Look back to the summer; you had 10 to 25 people camped out
Most people tried the lockdown in 1st wave and only took to streets when it was proven false

As if this needs a new thread. Covid civil disobedience has been going on all year and discussed repeatedly.

Keep whining. The majority of Canadians are willing to follow guidelines for the sake of keeping as many people as possible healthy.

It is the anti-science covidiots that are undermining the efforts of the majority of Canadians. The epitome of selfish.

The vast majority of Canadians have altered their life in a dramatic way to slow the spread. Not perfectly,
mind you, but most people have bought in as well as can be expected for such an enormous shift.

While it doesn't make for a sexy headline, the measures we're taking are helping. Cases are rising, but it
would be so, so much worse if we were living our lives regularly. Hundreds dead in Ontario a day and thousands
upon thousands crowding a completely overwhelmed hospital system.

We're basically being asked to keep the virus at bay long enough to get most people vaccinated by next fall,
if not sooner. Looking back a decade from now, we'll be proud we did the right thing.

What is pointless is your whining and complaining. Toronto will remain locked down regardless of your moaning and stomping your feet.

If they ended the lockdown and lifted all restrictions, more people would get sick and die. Mostly the ones who are not afraid, like the young and anti-maskers. While the fearful would continue to social distance and avoid crowds. This will cull the fearless, leaving fewer people to spread covid. It's a win-win.

Are you seriously trying to discuss erectile dysfunction of an 80 year old?

Talk about false causality

You know it prob never worked BEFORE he got Covid right?

The vast majority of people who have been infected always or after wore masks.

"85% of people in the study who tested positive for the coronavirus were reported to have worn a mask always or often."
"Mask use does not increase risk of COVID-19 as viral social media posts claim":

Talk about morainic statements.

I guess you have never heard of an adult male having one that works?

I wonder if people who reported getting caught out in the rain had a higher chance of carrying umbrellas.

What might your point better is to turn it around.
People who carried umbrellas were almost 100% certain of being rained on.

I get it. But the numbers don't give much confidence to mask wearing being more than 15% effective, yet the maskers are also the lockdowners and the social distances, etc.

It breeds far less confidence in anything they believe, including the death rates.

Medical Doctor and Senator comments on dead counts.

15% effective would be a misinterpretation I think based on the data at hand. You don't know how many people overall wore masks and did not get the virus.

Someone else had posted this but it essentially is the crux of the argument
My rock is just as effective as your mask
