If you want to look at the Eastern Romans/Byzantines, I'd recommend the conflict against Arian Christianity but there is plenty written on the adoption of Christianity in the first place. There is actually a distinct evolutionary group they are referring to commonly as dark-flies (one group has been in a light free environment). if you really want you could look up the scientific name for the new species.

Everything in science is a theory because science always accepts the possibility that future evidence and theories might offer a better explanation.

As for evolution, we have plenty of evidence that it is happening and have a fairly good understanding of how. A simple example is the way covid has mutated allowing it to spread more easily but be less deadly.

Depending on who you believe as much as 8% of human DNA has been altered (eg through a virus)
Evolution is "natural selection" based on Darwin's classic theory
A mutation is NOT always heritable (hence evolution is not fully valid)

If you want more detailed explanation as I said there are books on the matter (which obv go into more detail than say Wiki could possibly)


There must be variation among the traits of the individuals of a reproducing population, this variation must be heritable to some degree, and this heritable variation must have an effect on the differential ability of individuals to survive and reproduce in order for differential reproduction to occur. The individual variants that leave more offspring are said to be fitter or better adapted. Therefore, natural selection is usually described as differential reproduction resulting from differential fitness within a shared environment.


There also are more severe issues with us humans. Evolution in no way predicts or explains consciousness. Our brains are a severe issue with the evolutionary chain.

Google "Transposons". The very first entry that appears:

So when you say "A mutation is NOT heritable (hence evolution is not valid)" you are directly contradicting the science. Does that mean the science is wrong, or that you are uninformed? Without knowing that you're a Nobel Prize winner with a body of work to back up your supposition, I'd go with science.

This is a new one. Determining the similarity of Covid and HIV based on the graphics chosen to illustrate news stories.

Actually, isn't HIV red, and Covid green? That's what the pictures looked like in one story on CNN...
