The only way to prove that masks do or don't work is a controlled study of two groups where one group always wears masks the other group never wears masks (and both groups would have the same health levels/co-morbidities) and then they are exposed to the exact same set of circumstances meaning that they come in contact with the same people. If they end out getting infected at the same rate, that would PROVE that masks don't work. And you'd need lottts of participants.

Having said that, I don't think that this kind of study could possibly be pulled off, so you guys may be at this for some time.

The reason is the most do not use them properly and many infections are happening within the family home and extended families. Who once around one another, no one is wearing masks. Most will wear them going into stores but immediately remove them after and socialize without the masks on.

Kids are bringing it home from school and passing it on but they try to avoid this stat as they do not want to be forced to close all the schools down. My money is on schools being a much bigger spreader than restaurants.

Tam herself has said masks don't work (she now suggests trying a 3 layer mask with filter)
CDC has said masks don't work
Chinese government have said masks don't work

Really is there any (accredited) group in the world who still says masks do work? The tide has shifted against the mask wearing covidiots.

Mind you I even posted the article on main page (there only are like 10 active threads) so if you actually cared it was easy enough to fact check on your own
I find most of the covidiots enjoy living in their bomb shelters without bothering to even read news though
