The GOP was comatose before Trump came along to give them direction and a new life for better or worse. Trump snuffed out the assumed heir, Jeb Bush quite easily and brought the GOP to the White House. Can the GOP win without Trump, an individual who has changed the face of America politics forever ? Trump still has a massive loyal base who do not see Biden and the Democrats as a viable alternative.
Before Ghislaine Maxwells trial begins next summer, some major figure(s) involved in this plot will be eliminated. The purpose of this honey trap was for extortion and coercion due to blackmail and it seems to be working and will influence the upcoming US election.
I have no idea what your last sentence is other than conspiracy nonsense, but the bit about Trump giving the GOP direction is sort of true in a sense.
The GOP really thought they could keep running the "we will promise you culture war and racism
sotto voce while being patricians looking for pro-rich policies. Trump said "fuck that, promise the racism and culture war up front" and it turns out a big part of the GOP base wanted that.
Did he change the face of American politics forever? Maybe. It is possible that authoritarian corruption as a goal worth throwing over democracy for is the new normal. I hope not. If Trump does lose despite cheating and trying to invalidate the election, the GOP will face a dilemma. There is a real discussion about policy that can be had divorce from the white nationalism, or they can decide they will never win without the white nationalism and disenfranchisement of the majority and double down. I really don't know which path they will take.
