If she doesn't die first, he'll wait til after the election to pardon so she'll drag out proceedings as long as she can. Thus feds gotta give her immunity to checkmate the pardon and then round up the pedophiles. They may not want to do that however.

I thought (I'm not a lawyer) that the Florida was a federal deal so I thought the only way to crack that nut was at a federal level. You are correct that only federal crimes can be pardoned by the president.
Nothing would topple his organization as fast as pedeophile charges - that would be avoided at all costs.

The official trial has yet to start but the secret trial and negotiations are well underway and have been for sometime between Maxwell and various bad actors who are very worried for their futures and other third parties who know what the bad actors have done.
