To the men mid 40's and older, how old were you when you sex drive declined?

Was just curious as to how old you were when you noticed a significant drop off in your sex drive? I'm 45, and just in the last year noticed a significant dropped off. I live a very unhealthy life style so they may be a contributing factor, but was just curious what the "norm" is. Or maybe the average is a better way of phrasing it.

Slows down, maybe late 40s. I felt late 30s was the optimal sex powers age...had the drive, 100% reliable full boners, could hold out and not blow after 5 seconds of entering the lady, could do msog in an hour, more borderline presentable in appearance, had a real job w real income lol. But did not notice a clear decline at any given point, but it was very slow and very gradual.

Given the slow decline, hard to say when it changed. Still have a decent drive now 20 years later, but, can't really do msog, once a day or every other day and would be fine. There are some ladies who are otherwise lovely in agencies or indies that I wouldn't be interested in even if they gave it away for free. That would NOT have been the case 20 years ago. However, the ebony ladies......as you know brother BBL...that's a different story lol.

I am 56 and it started about 2-3 years ago. Like the OP my diet is terrible. The last few months I haven't had any desire to see SP's. I still think about it once and awhile but it quickly fades. Seems I have more interest in just going to the strip clubs and relaxing there.

While not as old as Mick Jagger, I tick the same box on questionnaires. Started to wane in mid to late 40s to be honest, Had a ¨Philippina girlfriend, back when I had girlfriends, when I turned 50. Are you talking sex drive (how much you want to have sex) vs, your performance (you still want it but your dick isn't co-operating the way it used to)_. Two different things.

I wouldnt say it has dropped. mores so my mind is clearer and can make better decisions when it comes to women instead of my hormones and drive thinking for me. being able to plan, analyze, process and execute has also improved significantly.

while I still like to have sex I have found that the act itself is less interesting without an emotional attachment. its when the emotional attachment to the person is there I want my drive kicks in to overdrive.

Whoa, blood pressure medication shouldn't be doing that to you. I take 5mg of Amlodipine a day, my sex drive is still chugging along. Talk with your doctor, you could have an iron deficiency, your red blood cells are not getting enough oxygen. Have him test you for anemia. If it's just an iron deficiency start taking Geritol or develop a taste for liver.

I don't think that it is uncommon.

Even though you've had no issues, keep in mind that different people have different side effects even from the same drug, let alone different ones. It is hardly worth a trip to the doctor. rgkv can mention it at his next annual.

I am ancient , though I can say with all confidence my sexual desire is more rampant than ever, I think I am addicted to sex and resultingly acting out in accordance to that. I think porn is the culprit also looking at all the talent on Leolist drives me bananas. I sometimes consider hiring a scheduler so all my days are booked for me and I dont have to waste my personal time searching.,calling, booking, screening, ETC.

I honestly would love to find a regular woman that I can see five times a week who meets all my requirements, that is my dream.
