I just noticed the a licensed body rub in the gta that is at least in the mid-tier, shut down today for at least a few weeks. Appeared to be volunatary.

The number of listings on LL and LC are down significantly and a quick scan of the Twitter timelines of local (and touring SPs) indicate many is on hiatus.
The # of posts from semi-pros on Kijiji/CL are also non-existent right now. JT just announced a ban of foreigner entry to Canada so we certainly won't see many of the fresh-off-the-boat Asian girls, for the foreseeable future.

We should all do our part to flatten the curve. Please stop creating scenarios where it’s perhaps fine to see a SP and practice social distancing for the sake of everyone and not just yourself. No one in the 21st century lives completely isolated from society.

The case fatality rate of the COVID-19 is much more than seasonal flu, even in the younger population. And given the fact that it's more transmissible, we would end up seeing more deaths, considering we are just in the beginning here in Canada. Just referencing some crude numbers does not mean anything like flu causes this much of death each year. Consider we are not done with COVID-19 yet and the number of deaths is increasing exponentially across the globe. Unfortunately these myths are around and cause the catastrophes we see now in Italy, the rest of the Europe and also the US. I am sure the US will encounter a big jump in the number of deaths in the near future based on what I see from irresponsible people.
It is serious and each of us in the community should take it seriously.
All health clubs, etc where people may be too close are voluntarily closing. If the places I love to go a couple of times a month do not close soon, I'm afraid they will get A LOT of negative publicity, resulting in a large negative backlash against the whole industry. The long run costs to the industry are potentially very large. Please voluntarily shut down.
Us addicted clients will rationalize going like any coke-head will rationalize taking one last hit. I myself have been able to hold off the past two weeks now, but I know the me of 15 years ago would have rationalized going still. That same me of 15 years ago always ignored long run consequences of the vast majority of my actions. Again,the long run consequences to the industry of not behaving under these circumstances are potentially huge. I want to return to these very fun activities in 8 to 12 weeks!!

Brass serves food and drink so they would be covered under the bar/restaurant closure. CMJ Downtown would as well, I think.
Some of the top agencies in Montreal are still open. As cghoper said, the backlash could be far worse for these establishments.
AT/PS closing after today. That leaves just CMJ and ALO of the major spas left to do the right thing
